I found myself falling a little behind in July so I have some books that will carry over into August but that said, next month is going to be awesome - especially since I made a last minute decision to commit to another buddy read. I just couldn't help it and I'm so looking forward to it!

Thinking about getting into the Jack Ryan universe. Do you think they need to be read in order? If not, any recommendations on where to start?

I'm planning on doing a series deep dive soon with two main recommended starting points with character profiles, book summaries etc.
But to get a good grounding, you could start with The Hunt for Red October and then go chronologically only because you get to see Ryan's career trajectory right up to POTUS.
Alternatively, you could start at the Campus era where Jack Ryan Jr gets is introduction into the covert ops stuff but I will hopefully get that video out early to mid-next month 👍
