Great video, as always! I think the 'fill' function is the best thing about the Tracker, it can be used in so many different ways. Something I just wanted to mention for people reading the comments - if you are used to linear DAWs and you think you'd be put off by the Tracker's vertical scrolling, you can switch it to horizontal in the settings. Also, you can sample from the radio on the Teenage Engineering OP-1, but you're right in that not many samplers have this built in. Even with the OP-1 you need to use a standalone antenna, whereas the Tracker uses whatever you have plugged into the audio-out as the antenna
I thought about TE while I was watching this back, but yeah still a rare feature! I have tried the horizontal view but actually find that its a bit too cramped and you can't see much. It doesn't take much to get your head around the vertical view and its much better imo! Thanks for watching!
@@spvidz I totally agree - and I had prior experience of trackers (e.g. Renoise) before buying the Polyend, so I'm comfortable with vertical scrolling. It's good to have the option I guess!
@darealdibiase_ Would be interesting to take a contact mic to an arcade , not sure if it would work. I could be wrong but I think an SP404 has enough power for a contact mic.
Turntable needs line level. And the radio needs FM channels. In my country, FM is killed off. Perf mode is the gravy, and the icing on the cake of the PT. But really cool is the faxt that 1.9 id out for the PT now....adding 4 lanes off MIDI to 8 lanes of samples AFAIK.

Nice 🔥
Wish u could sample the video games like u can sample the radio
That would be dope!
yessir! well there is always the SP for that 😁
You can sample over usb and aux cord.. am I missing something on the SP? One day but it’s hard to justify with mpc + tracker.
@@LachieMcgI meant internal sampling of the video games like the radio sampling is internal sampling no cords is needed.

Very fun device! 😇
for sure! 🙌
Dope. More tracker vids please boss! Lovin my mini. Pity the mini doesn’t have the radio.
Thanks for tuning in man! Definitely want to do some more videos about these features that go more in depth 👊
No one ever seems to mention that you can turn the anti-aliasing off and get some crunchy sp1200 vibes from it
I've heard about that but not tried it yet. Thanks for letting me know. I'll look into doing a video about it 👍
Man I looooooooooove my Tracker. I’m so into it that I constantly consider splashing down half a mortgage payment on a Dirtywave M8.
haha yeah that thing looks crazy!
Thanks I really need to sus performance mode and resample, have never really got it on the mini
Performance mode seems really powerful. I need to spend longer with it too. I’m sure there are some secrets to unlock
I’m sure someone mentioned but op-1 since 2011 samples from radio
Nice. Its a very cool feature

Performance mode is great! I'll most likely do a full video about that
Ah yeah ah I'll neva do it again 😂😂😂!!
Nice video
Thanks bro 🙏
