Can I just say that it’s not all of us who need to apologise. It was pretty obvious that whatever it was it was a family matter and they should have their privacy - minor celebs saying we all need to apologise need to reflect on their behaviour and stop projecting onto others.
The fact is the celebs were just piling on the jokes, but it all started from shows like gmb over promoting the story, and I don’t hear any of them apologizing. Instead they rake in the viewership…

Those who said unkind things about Princess Catherine should be ashamed. Their apology is fine, but that they would learn from this to not speak out of turn and unkindly would be more appropriate. Catherine probably could give two hoots what these celebs say, she's quite busy getting well and tending her family. These celebs give themselves too much credit for being heard.

A lot of celebrities used the media hype to make more money and draw attention to themselves. Blake lively used it to sell a product and Kim K probably did it because with her narcissistic personality she couldn't stand that someone else was getting more attention than she. Maybe apologies aren't the issue. The issue is the self-absorption and vacuousness of some celebrities.
A post of Instagram that pops up…and disappears after hours…doesn’t seem like much of an apology. They are only making apologies because they look bad. She was recuperating from surgery, and it shouldn’t have happened to begin with.

All I have to say is “how the turn tables.”
But they were lying it’s a scary thing when people feel that their freedom of speech is being taken from them. Everybody had a right to ask Where is Kate this had nothing to do with her health issues. The truth of the matter is they did give out fake pictures and the public has a right to challenge that, nobody has mocked her health diagnosis. People are still questioning whether that was really Kate speaking and not an AI, but understandably they have set such a low standard where they’ve lost credibility. We heard not too long ago from a British journalist that Charles does not have cancer. What do people believe people we have a right to question what they see and what they hear, or else. We will become no better than Russia and Korea, where people feel stifled or feel they’ll be penalised. If they question anything they see and for the record, why isn’t the British media challenging the public about all the wrong and negative things they’ve said about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Do we have one standard for some members and a different standard for others that makes us hypocrites and the public should not stand for that if you set a standard for everybody to be able to express their opinions, then that needs to be respected.
Meanwhile her uncle went on celebrity big brother constantly talking about royal family as if that doesn’t get more attention and speculation to this story. How much money did he get

Blake and all the other celebs who acknowledged their actions with regret issued a faux-pology. A real apology acknowledges what you did, who you did it to, and asks for forgiveness. You put it out there where it stays longer than 24 hours. Even the faux-pologies are disingenuous. They all blame Princess Catherine for her own attacks. “Well, I feel badly about what I put out there, but if Princess Catherine had just told us her private medical information and not posted an edited Mother’s Day photo on her own Instagram account, I never would have done it.” It shouldn’t take a revelation of private medical information, in this case a cancer diagnosis, for people to think before they join a mob and open their mouths. The right thing to do all along would have been to support a person’s right to privacy
