Since I watched your video, I’ve watched about a dozen “snood” videos, trying to decide which to make. I’m back to yours because your video is the easiest to follow & pretty simple. Thank you, I’m going to start my daughter’s snood today.
I totally love this.ive been looking for something like this for a long time .love that sIngle crochet. It's easy plus closed stitches and it's a perfect size to wrap around while I'm waiting for my wood stove is getting warm .thank you .
Beautifully done, love the Snood, I have a hard time see when I work with black, but I'm going to try for my granddaughter. You have a great personality!❤
GIRL I HOLD MY YARN JUST LIKE YOU!!! every other crochet person I see always has the yarn through the other fingers ! But when I learned I just had it like you! ( crocheting since February2022) i feels good to FINALLY see another person hold the yarn like I do
Not even halfway done with my snood, but your video is by far the MOST helpful! I will say I don’t have the same size yarn so I’ll be adding more rows, but I loveee how yours came out!
@@JenneticCrafts thank YOU for sharing!! I’m a beginner to crocheting so being able to see you do the first couple of rows is extremely helpful. Trying not to get ahead of myself but I can’t wait to watch the rest of your videos!!
This is excellent but a little fast for someone who has no idea how to crochet except for the chain. For me, the stacking part on the end is hard for me to grasp but going to try! Looks so much faster than knitting! Great video! Thank you ❤
I understand what you are saying. I put a disclaimer in the beginning and said in that i will not be going slow for newer crocheters and I was just showing the pattern in this video
I appreciate your tutorial and will definitely try my hand at it! You did a great job and hopefully people understand that you got inspiration from the show, and they should take it up with the writers and Tim Burton! it is what it is, and it still looks fabulous! definitely making this!
Thank you all so much for your comments!! ❤ I just want to remind you something. I understand that to you it may not be a snood but on the show “Wednesday” they say snood and what I am making is my interpretation of said snood. You may call it whatever you wish. Happy crocheting and thank you for watching, liking the video & subscribing! ❤️
That is an infinity scarf, or possibly a gigantic cowl, but absolutely not a snood. A snood is a little net that holds your hair in a bun, not even remotely close. Perpetuating someone else's mistake, especially after you know it is a mistake, is going to get comments. Let's call things by what they are, and not make things up. Language is how we can all understand each other. Why make a tutorial and then not correct it?
@@alexlin9565 like i said, its my interpretation from a netflix show 😊. I’m going to call if whatever it is from the show and continue on my merry way. ❤️

Are you double crocheting in every stitch of every row or are you skipping a stitch ? I think I hear you say don’t forget to skip and I’m trying to watch your hands as you go but I can’t tell if you skip,or not.
May I ask the size of the needle and the yarn? I only have 5mm and I started to crochet just a week ago and I’m still hard to catch up with everything…!!!😅
You are not skipping a stitch and in the beginning you are doing a normal Single crochet and in the back part aka the 2nd piece of yarn you place your 2nd Single Crochet to form the double stack Single Crochet. Sorry i’m not good at explaining 😅

Hi, I love the video so much. Quick question what did you mean by miss a Stitch?

This looks perfect. How tall are you so I can Guage if your exact pattern length would fit me. I'm 5'6"
I’m 5ft short 😳
@@JenneticCrafts so I might need a little extra. 🤣 🤣 🤣
Can you please tell me how many skeins it will take for a black snood?
It depends what yarn brand you will use. For me it was almost 4 skeins of bernat softee chunky. I would have extra so at least 5.
If I’m using a 4 weight yarn, how many should I chain and how many rows, please? 💐
I haven’t tried making this with worsted weight so I do not know a starting ch amount and row count. I’m sorry 😅

Yes I am sure that it’s the snood from the TV show that I made. They said snood on the show so thats why it’s a snood.

5:14 what do you mean by miss a stich? It looks like you didn't skip any stitches for the second row
I meant to say don’t forget to not miss a stitch 😅 sorry. I jumbled my words a bit there
How many yards needed?
I don’t count yardage. I count by how many skeins needed.

I would just make less rows in my starting chain. For instance, i chained 150 rows and Instead I would chain 120 or 110
What are the finished dimensions?
I’m so sorry i’m just seeing your comment! Finished dimensions are 47 inches long and 14 inches wide

I’ve never heard of this before can you explain what that is?
Neat! :]
