    I totally love this.ive been looking for something like this for a long time .love that sIngle crochet. It's easy plus closed stitches and it's a perfect size to wrap around while I'm waiting for my wood stove is getting warm .thank you .

    GIRL I HOLD MY YARN JUST LIKE YOU!!! every other crochet person I see always has the yarn through the other fingers ! But when I learned I just had it like you! ( crocheting since February2022) i feels good to FINALLY see another person hold the yarn like I do

      Me too! I've tried doing that thing where you weave it between your fingers, but it gets too tight and doesn't slide like it's supposed to.

    This is excellent but a little fast for someone who has no idea how to crochet except for the chain. For me, the stacking part on the end is hard for me to grasp but going to try! Looks so much faster than knitting! Great video! Thank you ❤

      I understand what you are saying. I put a disclaimer in the beginning and said in that i will not be going slow for newer crocheters and I was just showing the pattern in this video

    I actually like the idea of sewing together a single rectangle especially for beginners. It's easier to Guage what would fit on your own body.

      That is an infinity scarf, or possibly a gigantic cowl, but absolutely not a snood. A snood is a little net that holds your hair in a bun, not even remotely close. Perpetuating someone else's mistake, especially after you know it is a mistake, is going to get comments. Let's call things by what they are, and not make things up. Language is how we can all understand each other. Why make a tutorial and then not correct it?

      Now I've known it as a snood since I was a kid it's only been the last couple of years I've heard it referred to as an infinity scarf. Maybe it's just the country you are in as to what it is.

    If it’s alright if I ask, what is the length of the crochet panel of the snood before you bind the ends of the snood panel together? Love this. I’m using your tutorial to try doing a knitted version of this snood for myself. 🩷🩵🖤💜

      Hi! Sorry for the late reply I just saw this. The length before you sew them together is 88 inches. After you sew them it’s 44 inches

      It depends what yarn brand you will use. For me it was almost 4 skeins of bernat softee chunky. I would have extra so at least 5.

    Are you sure that's a snood? My image of a snood is a bun bag; this looks like a cowl to me.

      I like cowls; I dislike the word "snood;" it sounds like what happens to your sinuses when you have a head cold, to be achingly discreet....
      But tbh, I'm not the only person who recognizes the word to refer to a hairnet worn only on the back of the head to contain a bun or loose long hair....

      When I made mine i used almost 4 skeins of Bernat Softee Chunky and i made it with less rows. I’m going to try it with the same brand i used in this video. I will try to make a video with a better background

      Take your time with learning! There is no rush ❤️ I used a 8mm crochet hook and the yarn is weight #5 bulky acrylic yarn!

    4:39 I can’t tell whether or not you’re suppose to go under the stitch. Also, you’re suppose to skip a stitch right?

      You are not skipping a stitch and in the beginning you are doing a normal Single crochet and in the back part aka the 2nd piece of yarn you place your 2nd Single Crochet to form the double stack Single Crochet. Sorry i’m not good at explaining 😅

    Technically this is a hooded cowl. A snood is traditionally a crocheted netting that u wear over your hair. U will see this in medieval times.

      I understand that. All I wanted to do was replicate what I saw on the show. If they say snood, i’m calling it a snood. I personally consider it a infinity scarf.
