    “Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become.” Good quote. The amz workbook called 30 Days to Reduce Stress by Harper Daniels is also cool, it goes well with Atomic Habits I feel.

    _My takeaways_ 🧘‍♀️,
    33:35 - Focus on your *System* instead of *Goals*
    37:09 - The purpose of setting Goals is to *win* the game, The purpose of building Systems is to *continue playing* the game.
    38:46 - *Chap 1* Summary
    41:40 - *Outcomes* are about what you get | *Process* is abt what you do | *Identity* is abt what you believe.

    I can't catch what the speaker is narrating,so I pause and and the same part is repeated and i get somewhat structures to order sentences beautifully as well as that way it gives more meaningful sense to my sentences. I would like to come here over and over to get more like this 😊❤️ Hoping, likely to be merit at reading and comprehend the books and what it want us to tell as well.

    @jessejules2092 11 месяцев назад

    He refers to Allan Carr's giving up smoking and reframing the lies we tell ourselves about a bad habit - ie that this is not what we want. However, for some the opposite is true. We may tell ourselves that we don't like it or want it, but really we do and do the truth is that we do like it and need to confess this truth.

    • @ratonotota1508
      @ratonotota1508 10 месяцев назад

      I disagree, I just finished a rewrite of Allan Carr's smoking book for pornography and this finally set me free, it's not lying to yourself it's recognising the truth that it's bad for you, and why would you want something bad for you. We don't like but have fallen in a trap a vicious cycle
