I sold my 50 this past fall. It was a great tractor. Like yours, it too was a 53 model. I still have 2 1958 520's, and a very rare 1970 2520 diesel, wide front with a cab. You can see them all on my channel. Thanks for sharing.

Chelsie Verbal. My apologies. It was actually 1952.6 when they started making the 50 so 1953. I’m not looking to start an argument. Thanks for watching.

Learned to drive on a JD 50 growing up on family farm. Older brother basically gave it away instead of keeping it and maybe restoring it. Couldn't find space for a historic and desirable antique. Jackass.
Scot Mandel grow up in Michigan pig 🐷 Farm, used the 50 just to haul full wagons of shelled corn for silo. Brings back a ton of memories I’d love to have that tractor now days. Driving that thing at 7 years old
@@paulgardner6813 pretty sure I wasn't driving ours at 7 but not much later I think. Not sure if it was first tractor my dad got but had to be one of his first. My dad favored John Deeres.
@@farmlifesd5722 my wifes uncle bought one at auction a few years ago. I'm the only one that ever drives it. We like to use it to take the kids on trailer rides.

It's good to see another kid like me that loves tractors
Fantastic to see a youngster knowing his way around a farm and an oldschool tractor!

John Deere Made the model “50” from 1952 All-Fuel to 1956 not 1954! 👍

pretty sure the 50 is marked at 33 horsepower nice tractor tho
I saw one tested once, I believe the drawbar was about 28 hp and the PTO was rated at 29-30 or so.

Greenwood Red Angus. Thanks.
what do you use your 50 for around the farm?
Run the truck unload auger, sometimes the square baler and sometimes a 3/16 plow
