    I love listening to you Lana!!! I always listen to people who have visions and dreams that He shows people, and He talks to, but I keep seeking Him by prayer and reading His Word, and one of my prayers for God Almighty is to have a profound supernatural encounter with Christ Jesus, and I feel like He doesn’t answer my prayers. He knows my sins and knows that I am truly trying to seek Christ Jesus, and I need prayer that He will give me a revelation of some sort. I have been seeing the numbers 1:11, 111 for some time as well. God bless you and your family always Lana!! Your Sister in Christ Jesus!! 🙏🏼♥️🙋🏼‍♀️

      I'm instructed to tell you to go to the mirror and look into your eyes and see CHRIST within looking back at you... keep looking and you will understand why Jesus said that He cannot shall not ever leave you, Jees he's us Yesh u are, as you've done it unto just ONE of these my children you've done it unto me the Lord Jesus, are you not all Christ's? ...be CHRIST..seek first the Kingdom of God in side the house of YOU where the Kingdom of God is CHRIST within.. Thanksgiving dinner..
      Why did Jesus call all churches except one the synagogues of Satan,
      Why did Jesus say that this is not your home?
      Why did Jesus say over and over and over and over and over again that you live where Satan dwells and to come out of the church and their beliefs... follow CHRIST not christianity..

    I have such an eagerness to share the amazing things that God shows me in dreams and visions! But I don't want it to ever be from self-promotion. So many times, God gives me dreams and words a week or so before I read a minister's or prophet's word and I get so excited about the confirmation that I share the link to a video or word I've written on their video or post. (Even now, I wanted to share confirmations with part of this video, but felt reluctant to, because I don't want to self-promote. )
    Please pray that I know when to share and when to keep quiet.
    Honestly, knowing when to speak and when to keep quiet is a daily struggle! LOL

    I'm late to listening to this and I'm only 8 minutes in but had to stop and say something:
    Why is it that legalism always creeps its head into good words? Let me explain:
    I believe the most important thing is to know God and be known by Him. I conflict with believers all the time with this. They tell me works is most important but to me it's knowing God but more so Paul and Jesus say to be known by Him.
    Here's my conflict with this message: who in all Heaven told you you had to give up and sacrifice things you desire to be known by God and know him? This just isnt biblical. (In fact its part of the deception by the serpent to eve) Christ sacrificed himself so we could attain his blessings and they are without sorrow and toil. Proverbs 10:22. No Philippians 3 is not saying to sacrifice desires or blessings. It's one of the most butchered passages in all Christendom. Paul is saying to sacrifice all legalistic ways to know Christ w/o Faith and to know him with a righteousness not your own.
    Anyways I'm not trying to be contentious. I'm trying to clarify you don't have to give things up to know God. Knowing God's heart is knowing his heart for you in the things of your own hearts longings also not just others.

    • @kevinvawser8003
      @kevinvawser8003 4 года назад +2

      Hi, Randall. I don't think you are correct in this. An example - mammon (money) is something that we can desire, yet Jesus condemns the love of it over God. Jesus also asked the rich young ruler to give away everything he had to follow him. Was Jesus being legalistic?
      In Galatians 5, in the direct context of living free from bondage, Paul calls the Galatians to "not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh", and of the lusts of the flesh lists selfish ambition. If it was right for us to live a hedonistic life without "sorrow or toil", Jesus would not have commended the Ephesians because they "persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary." or the church of Smyrna rich, despite their poverty.
      Lana is not saying that it is wrong to have nice things or to enjoy the things that God blesses us with. But, when our desire for the "good things", is confused with our desire for God, we have created idols in our life. There are godly people who are rich, and those who are poor. We don't believe that one must be poor or should be poor for the sake of the kingdom, but to say that Christ's sacrifice was for blessings without sorrow or toil does Jesus' death a grave injustice.
      God is a good God, who blesses his children and loves them deeply. But, nowhere in the Word does it say that righteousness is no longer required of us. The law of grace is not just the freedom from legality, but the empowerment to walk it out.
      Do you read the bible? I'm not talking about a verse here or there - that is how verses get taken out of context and these false doctrines begin. If your Christian life has value to you, don't expect others to do the learning for you.

      @@kevinvawser8003 i didn't say that we love things more than God but that we can also love and desire things and God not have you sacrifice them to have God be #1. Mammon is the love of money as a god not having financial wealth.

    • @randallgrimes2796
      @randallgrimes2796 4 года назад

      @@kevinvawser8003 the context of the rich young ruler isn't about wealth. If you go with the traditional interpretation of this passage you have to suggest that salvation is obtained through one's works. For Jesus says in Matthew 19:29 of that passage that if you leave family members for christ youll inherit eternal life. Now Lana you have a family. You must leave them to inherit eternal life as this is what Jesus says after the disciples ask him how can one be saved.
      No i think this too is a butchering of scripture. Listen I'm coming from a place of what the world would call financial poverty and I have no family except a brother. My parents I rarely see they are out of state. I dont have anything but God not even friends.
      I believe this passage when taken as a full passage is Jesus bringing everyone to the revelation that perfect obedience is impossible. That it's only through Christ one can be saved. Here are the major points in this passage:
      V.16 the ruler asks how he can be saved. This is the subject not riches. The ruler doesn't acknowledge Jesus as God, only good. This is the problem NOT the riches.
      V.17a Jesus says only God is good. Is Jesus not God? Is Jesus not good? Of course he's both. This passage is filled with an interesting dialogue to which Jesus is being mysterious not upfront so that's the tone of this passage.
      V.17b-19 Jesus is giving an ultimate absurdity knowing no man can fully obey the Law attesting to this rulers arrogance at his "perfection" God likeness.
      V.20 the young ruler isn't being honest. He is seeing the Law and works as his salvation not Jesus. Do you really think this young ruler obeyed perfectly?
      V.21-22 Jesus is triggering this man's heart of thinking he is perfect by what he does. I believe Jesus is speaking of himself here for he left all his riches in heaven to come be our sacrifice. He sacrificed perfection to give to us the poor. He's breaking down this man's self righteousness. Humbling him. Jesus wants the man to ask him exactly what the disciples ask in v.25 I think Jesus here is hinting: can you be me? Can you be God? Can you love as much as I love you? Answer being no.
      V.23- 24 its hard for the rich to enter heaven because they believe their success and life and wealth is all about them and their ability and this carries over to their spirituality. They believe they're Godlike. They are works oriented hence the first 2 verses. Otherwise you must determine what makes a man rich enough to send him to Hell. How rich is too rich and how rich is rich enough? And how does that change in fluctuating economies? Through the centuries? Listen this isn't about riches it's about a belief system of deeds.
      V.25 the disciples question proves this because the disciples aren't wealthy and are not pursuing wealth. They've left all they had yet they are concerned. Why would they be concerned if they weren't wealthy. Why would they say no one can be saved? Is everyone rich in Roman occupied Israel? No! Their mindset is about obeying the commands not wealth. To them the wealthy were wealthy because of their obedience to God. God's blessing. The poor were poor because they failed at the law and suffered the curses. Jesus is turning this false theology on its head.
      V.25 Jesus hints at what this is all about... Faith in God. He doesn't tell them how it's going to be done here (the cross) but rather that its God alone who saves. Man can't and yes God can save the rich w/o getting rid of their wealth. God can save you without you being fully obedient. I see Jesus saying this with a huge smile as if he's got a great joyful secret to release to everyone.
      In short Jesus is saying in order to be saved you must obey the law perfectly or if your rich become poor. The response naturally is how on earth can anyone be saved then? Jesus says exactly no one can... of their own ability. Only God can save. It's really not about our perfection but his. It's never about the wealth or the obedience to the Law. It's always been about him and he wounds us when we think otherwise. This is why you must read context.
      The final verses I don't believe are a prescription for eternal life. I believe they are a description of what will happen if you suffer loss for Christ. If you suffer for Christ's sake. Keyword for Christ. You will know you have eternal life. This is a comfort because they have all lost things on behalf of Jesus. This isn't a command of God to go leave everything and then this is how you obtain salvation. If it is then I challenge you to levee your spouse and children now to gain your salvation or you're going to hell.
      Secondly and lastly, this is before the resurrection, ascension of Jesus and Pentecost. The Holy Spirit didn't indwell believers then until after Christ went to the Father therefore the commands of following Christ were more physically oriented. In order to follow Christ you had to literally follow him because he could only be in one place at one time. God knowing this eventually would be a worldwide absurdity the Spirit had to come so that all will be indwelt who believe in him. So the following after Pentecost is universal not set to a smaller local due to the coming of the Spirit. Not to mention that Jesus hadn't fulfilled the law yet so there was some extreme following that had to be done until the disciples could take on Christ's righteousness but for the meantime Jesus was right there with them bestowing himself on them face 2 face.
      Then in ending think on this: why were some told by Jesus NOT to follow him? I submit to you that the physical following really wasnt the focus. It's always about Jesus jabbing the hearts of those who believe following mean's works and not knowing and being known by God.

      @kevinvawser8003 4 года назад +2

      @@randallgrimes2796 Jesus response to the rich young ruler was highlighting the fact that his possessions had become an idol to him. Plain and simple. It is clear that piety was not his concern, it was material possessions. If his motive for the possessions was piety, they would have been a very easy sacrifice for him.
      There is no reason to believe the RYR is being dishonest. You misunderstand the context of this. Jesus was not yet revealed as the saviour - they were still hoping for a messiah that would come in the form of a new Davidic monarch. The concept that God would send a Davidic king to restore all mankind and inaugurate a theocracy was not understood at this time. They only had the law to keep them safe (well, safer) from death. Jesus had not died yet, it was only the twelve who had portions of the greater truth but very few had the full picture of what Jesus was preaching. I have no doubt that the ruler believed he had kept the law - others believed the same.
      I do wonder where you come to the idea that these laws are works based - do not lie? Honour your mother and father? They are heart-based. They are all good examples of Torah and what a good follower of Torah was expected to adhere to. There does seem to be a cultural precedent that piety and riches were linked, but riches were tied not only to that, the culture was strongly feudal (patronage-based) and to have to give away the wealth would have also hurt his social standing too. This story is about Jesus exposing the man's idols. There would have been no theological reason for the RYR to believe that coming to Christ would mean salvation. It was not until Jesus' death and resurrection that the full revelation was known.
      Suffering for Christ's sake is no guarantee of eternal life. Only faith in Christ can do that, although Paul states that sowing in the Spirit and not flesh is also essential too (Gal 6:7) There are many who believe themselves to be saved who are not, even displaying the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 7:22).
      Going back to the main point of this discussion, There are many good verses that show the imperative that we live righteously. I strongly recommend you read through Galatians, Colossians and Ephesians. They will only take you 20 minutes or so to read if you read them every day you will understand them more.
      Galatians 2:17-21 states “But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ, therefore, a minister of sin? Certainly not! For if I build again those things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”
      Your main point was
      "I believe the most important thing is to know God and be known by Him. I conflict with believers all the time with this. They tell me works is most important but to me it's knowing God but more so Paul and Jesus say to be known by Him."
      Firstly, I don't know anyone who will say "works" are more important than knowing God. That is putting the cart before the horse.
      Secondly, I don't think you really understand the concept of "Know" in this context. "Knowing" God in the biblical understanding speaks of intimacy in a way that you are permeated and changed by Him, in a similar way to marital intimacy. Righteousness is not something we "do" it is something we "become" as we spent time with him, he convicts us of sin and we begin to live in a way that reflects His holiness. While righteousness is not a prerequisite of salvation, it is the natural fruit of it, and one scripture suggests that we will be judged by (Matthew 25:31-46, Romans 14:10-12).
