My preferred brands were Starrett or Brown and Sharpe.
Got my set and compared them others I have as well as my KNOWN 123 block and others and they are WELL within tolerance. Thanks Garrett for sending them to me.
stlwoodworking, That's great to hear! I'm glad you're happy with your purchase and that the blocks are measuring up accurately for you. Happy woodworking!
I am looking forward to getting my calipers and using them hopefully this weekend.
kevinrich4637, That's great to hear! Calipers are a really handy tool for precise measurements in woodworking. Enjoy using them!
Can’t wait to get mine! Thx Garrett.
davidwagner8356, You're welcome! I'm glad you're excited to receive your calipers.
Got my calipers, and they are well worth the money. I have been using calipers for years.
ozguzzi, That's great to hear! Calipers are such a handy tool to have in the workshop. Enjoy using them on your projects!
Love the video, I just can't give up my Mitutoyo's😁

ctenos45069, That's great to hear, Clay! I am excited for you to get yours in your shop.
Wow Bro - A nice smart looking Digital Caliper and a good explanation of how to use them. I've been using both Digital & Vernier Calipers for over 30 years, and I learned a couple of things I didn't know. Looking forward to being notified of their release, so I can purchase one.
alpscraftshack599, right on brother! glad to hear that this one helped you so much.
Love all of my IDC Woodcraft things. I received my calipers yesterday but have been working yesterday and today so I will open them and check them out tomorrow. I also just ordered a new surface bit today as they just came back in stock. Thank you for all of your insight on everything in the CNC world. Also thank you to the gals in the shop for everything they do.
aarong402, Thank you for your kind words and continued support. It's wonderful to hear that you're enjoying your IDC Woodcraft items. We appreciate your business and hope you have a great time using your new calipers and surfacing bit once you get a chance to open and try them out!
Being a retired master machinist, I only use calipers for less accurate measurements. My go-to's are my micrometers including inside, outside and depth. Calipers are only accurate to +- .001.
Agreed, but nobdy needs that in woodworking :-)
jeffteeter501, That's great that you have your go-to tools for accurate measurements! It's important to use the right tool for the job based on the level of precision needed. Each tool has its own strengths and limitations.

raymonddowdy1669, right on brother. Thanks for the tip.
Hmmm, my comment must have gotten removed?
mr.p9882, i'm sorry brother but I do not see your previous comment. It may be a bug with RUclips. Sorry for the inconvenience on this one my friend.
