nemophila is one of the fast rising new bands recently, their members are all from different bands, high level musicians and musical diversity are their characteristics, You can hear a different genre or element in each of their songs. Please check out《adabana》next!🤘🏻🌸🤘🏻
My favorite of the Japanese bands. Love these girls. They named the band after a flower. Formed in 2019 by lead singer Mayu and bassist Haraguchi-san. Saki and Hazuki on guitar and Tamu Murata on drums. Originally put together for a one off, they decided the lineup was too good. For more try Reitei, Adabana, Revive, Oiran, Life, Style , or the title track of their upcoming second album (releases in December) Seize the Fate.
There is a flower named Nemophila. But I don't know if they are named after the flower. I think the flower and the band are both named after the same thing. It's a complex word. It's something like a flower that blooms too early in spring and gets frozen. But I don't think that is exactly right. But something like that. Blue flower is an oversimplification I'm pretty sure about that.
@@Jordan-Ramses Mayu originally wanted to name the band Sorai, but that was too complex to translate so instead she decided to name them after a flower and decided on Nemophila because of the blue color and 5 petals, one for each member
This is one of their heavier songs. If you like heavy, check Revive and their new single Seize The Fate. Some of their jammers are Raitei, Change The World, Monsters, and Rollin Rollin
Oh NEMOPHILA uploads a NEW cover either Monthly (on a set Friday but not sure if last or first. Or its every 2 weeks. Greqt stuff as i said. Also hope you do a reaction to their usual ending song LIFE as it was special. Will give spoilers so don't read on uf don't want knowledge of why they did song like this. Tamu had returned from a very long spell of Maternity Leave and apparently its quite common for Metal Musicians/Singers leave their bands for the family. So the rest of NEMOPHILA were scared Tamu would not come back( as stated by band, they are family. Closer than they believed a band could. So first concert back was a online live show because Japan went crazy with lockdown only lifting restrictions of cheering at concerts last year. Hence the 2021 Lovebites clapping shows. As usual at this point like 5 times the band ended with LIFE (WHICH TAMU KNEW WELL AND PLAYED IT LIVE) But band showed her how much they love, respect, gratitude for returning by all having backs to Cameras/Crowd tv, facing Tamu. And why Tamu crying most of the way through it and others (SAKI THE GODDESS) BROKE DOWN AS WELL
This is one of the bands to watch, no question. They just started in 2019 and are blowing up fast. They almost seem to be enjoying a private joke, that goes "Hi, we're a bunch of cute, fun girls and we are going to rip your face off, and you are going to like it.” They were founded in 2019. They are a supergroup composed of: ex-Mary's Blood guitarist Saki ex-Lipstick vocalist Mayu ex-Disqualia guitarist Hazuki (also plays with Lisa-X) ex-Hölderlins bassist Haraguchi-san, and ex-Soramimi drummer Muratatam (also does other projects) Initially, they were just a side project, co-organized Mayu with some help from Saki. They started off posting metal covers of well-known rock, pop and metal songs. Then they began posting originals, starting with “Oiran” ruclips.net/video/eyb2NtPwcxc/видео.html The viral reaction seems to have convinced them they were onto something potentially big, so they’ve been putting a lot more work into it, including some successful live-streams and an appearance at the annual Japanese female rock festival NAONのYAON. They tend toward hard and heavy, but also do ballads and some pop covers. Drummer Murata Tamu took time off to give birth to her son, and on her return, the rest of the bandmembers gave her a welcome back that resulted in an extremely moving moment captured on live stream: “Life” ruclips.net/video/HFnEYhbEAqg/видео.html After Oiran, others to check include “Raitei”, which means “Thunder” in Japanese, and yes, they bring the thunder: ruclips.net/video/lh-dVLKP314/видео.html More recent drops that showcase their intensity and versatility: “Adabana” ruclips.net/video/AxYiOwsu6wU/видео.html “Style” ruclips.net/video/Aph5GON6rPc/видео.html (written by their bassist, Haraguchi-san) Saki is the only one who had been with a breakout band before (Mary’s Blood); Hazuki and Murata-tamu are also considered elite musicians and have worked with a lot of other top artists. Hara-san is the youngest but is clearly a great talent and has been developing in front of our eyes. She has already written several songs for the group. And of course Mayu is quickly establishing herself as a one of the world’s best metal vocalists. Nemophila’s youtube channel: ruclips.net/channel/UCvoAeGZoC8giXP59NOZABIAvideos
Gratz to Mayu lead singer. She is on break currently because of pregnancy. All the members of Nemophila are veterans. This is a professional band. They have a Playlist of 34 covers that they recorded during Covid.
Has anyone pointed you to NEMOPHILA's Covers Playlist? A must watch/listen especially Iron Maiden, X Japan, Maximum the Hormone (Zetsubou Billy aka Billy in Despair), BABYMETAL etc many many great songs live in practice room except when locked in during the fake definitely not intentional, not a money grab, TEST, #PURE BLOOD FOR LIFE. lmao😂☠️💩😭😀😂sorry went on a tangent there.
now that you saw the amazing Hanabie and the awesome Nemophila, more than ever, please also do: MergingMoon - Greyen (Live clip official) Saiseiga - Ride On Blacklab - Abyss Woods and yes, you did not see that coming!
Here's 2 other Female bands from Japan worth the check out Aldious "We Are" ruclips.net/video/sfkJT0rra-8/видео.html Mary's Blood Starlight ruclips.net/video/rZOFROdFjZk/видео.html
It's fine. As far as the song I can't tell the difference. Her vocals are so stylized in this song I can't understand the English any better than the Japanese. The other music video is better. I agree with that.
I also like the cadence of the vocals on the original track better. The chorus is amazing on the original version and forced trying to fit English word in on the US version. Visually the original track had better camera work focusing on guitar fingerings, the drummers (Tamu) feet or hand work and many other shots that made your ears focus on what you were seeing, as well as many great shots of the ladies looking great which I miss on this version..
Yeah I feel personally like it’s a “dumbed down” version. It’s not as punchy and for me it kind of removed the essence of who they are. I’ll always have a soft spot for the original. I get why they did it, they need that relatability in pushing through the US market but even so, call me picky but it feels kind of tainted
NEMOPHILA means business. This band is one to watch...taking off like wildfire. 🌸✨🌠

Yes, Nemophila is another excellent all-female heavy metal band from Japan.
My favorite of the Japanese bands. Love these girls. They named the band after a flower.

I like the original Japanese version a bit more. The lead vocalist was pregnant when this was filmed.
Damn, why did they do that? this "US" version sucks compared to the original
It's fine. As far as the song I can't tell the difference. Her vocals are so stylized in this song I can't understand the English any better than the Japanese. The other music video is better. I agree with that.
Me too I like the mix on the original plus the Japanese parts in it.
