I haven't used any other hss lights but i have to say i dont know how much better you can get outside of adding power! Battery life is a 10/10 build quality is 8.5/10 recycle time is 9/10 the color temp from the flash is consistent. Now if you're going to be hss at 1/8000 you may need look at a more powerful light but so far i haven't needed to do that!
What is your over all impression on this light ?

@@coop1tyme thanks Sigma 85mm 1.4
Nice work!!
Did you blur the background in post? Because it doesn't look like lens bokeh to me.
No I didn't. All I did was use selective color to bring out the blues.
Just got mine and it seems to misfire every other shot
I haven't had that problem but I did see a few people that did but a firmware update fixed it.
Try updating the firmware
What specific bracket did you use to ensure compatibility with the umbrella?
This was a 34 inch ez glow beauty dish softbox
Hey there. Do you know if this light is compatiable with the canon rebel t6s?
Yes, But you have to get the one that works for Canon. They have triggers for every major brand I think
I had a Nikon trigger that worked for my Canon 5d Mark iii as well but to be on the safer side buy the brand for your camera.
What is the speed, diaphragm etc? thanks and great photos
Thank you. Flash power 1/2 power. 1/4000 f1.8 iso 50
