Steve, there are haters no matter where you live. How do I know, first I'll be 80 on 1/6 next year, born n raised a Michigander, moved east to MA in '73, lived in CT for over 40 years, and now I've lived here near Myrtle Beach for the past 10- years. You're a good grounded man, you'd find friends where ever you want to live. Roll safe, brother.
You are a professional You can tell by the gas in the middle, especially at intersections. Of course, your fatigue can be seen from your walking. I understand you and it doesn't matter to me how many raindrops are on your camera lens. I understand the love you have for this job. from persia ...whit love
Hey Steve, all I have to say is.... Keep On Truckin! Love your video content. Love seeing what you and Chris are up to. Please stay safe in your travels and work. God bless you sir!
Just turned 70. Forced retirement 4 years ago due to health. Spent 45 years out there. Yes I miss it, but your trips take me back to the good old days. Learned to drive on a cabover KW back in the mid 70's
Great video Steve really enjoy all the different camera angles and your commentary and the music. Thanks for sharing your trip out of Florida stay safe Steve.
🍭SWEET🍭Night driving in the rain is my absolute favorite! Enjoy both in cab & outside views. The lights reflecting off the water with the steady rhythm of the wipers & Orwell singing a lullaby of GRRRRRRrrrrrrr……why that’s heaven Steve! Thanks, good one👍🏻🙏🏼💖👍🏻🇺🇸🌞
I don't comment as much as I should, but I watch all your videos and have for years now, love the channel and the content. Hard working dude Steve, love the fact you run the 84. Keep on trucking 👊
Thank you for your videos I always wanted to be a over the road driver but it never came to pass had to follow other dreams I fixed and drove trucks in Vietnam then became a full time mechanic but your videos help live my dreams Thankyou and keep on trucking
Hey stave I like watching your RUclips videos and they are very educated and I like the way you explain things to your viewers in the videos and so any updates on the trivial trail
Do what you can with whath you have . The people that dont like what you do just tell them for get about it . I like both the shop and in your truck . I go places and see places that i would not see if i didnt watch your channel . Keep up the awesome work and videos . Denis from Santa Rosa Ca
Be great to see some footage of all the gauges working when orwell is under load. Eg Egt raising when pulling hard. RPMs ect. Stay safe and keep on trucking.
Thank you for doing what you do, happy belated veterans day by the way. You are always welcome back to Fidelity manufacturing, drive safe and keep moving forward. Bravo Zulu.
Orwell’s trailer appears to have been given some love, looks good. I hope and wish you the best of luck with everything you do. I really enjoyed your content. May the Lord continue to bless you and your company as well as your family!!! Safe travels my friend. Keep trucking safe!!!
Gday Steve really appreciate your videos. They helped me prepare for the recent trip to USA to travel route 66 on a guided tour on a Harley-Davidson Road Glide. I note that the trucks in USA are a uniform length, unlike in Australia where I live. the road trains can measure up to 206 feet (4 trailer mine trucks ), 173 feet (3 trailer trucks) 137 feet (2 trailer trucks) ,b doubles and single trailer units. This can impact on the ability to pass and stay within the speed limits. (Note all heavy vehicles are speed limited to 60 MPH. Cars and motorcycles (dependent on the state) can travel up to 80 mph. This is strictly enforced with major penalties up to loss of licence. Keep the videos coming .
Whenever I'm having a bad day I think about the fact that pretty soon there will be people trying to drive their Cybertrucks in the snow and that makes me happier 😅
As a former NYC resident, I’ve had zero issues living in TN (just south of Nashville). The only people I see get grief are Californians, and that’s due to the perception that they drove up housing costs. Maybe it’s different in Eastern TN.
18:18 So this truck is from the 185th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Iowa National Guard out of Johnston, Iowa according to the stencil bottom left of the tailgate and a search.
Hopefully you will still have chris and start truck repair shop then by the time your 65 hop out of truck and keep eye on shop lol just my 2 cents .keep the videos coming
Hello from Australia, I've been watching a lot of your videos lately and I'm hooked, I've also noticed how 'truck smart' cars seem to be in the US (at least in your videos they are), like that cybertruck not pulling right up to the intersection so you could make the turn, its so refreshing to see that. Here in Oz (or maybe just the area I'm in) people in cars just seem to be impatient and oblivious to trucks needing extra room to turn, I'm a truck driver myself and all to often I need stop halfway through a turn to wave people backwards from an intersection, or even worse is slowing down and having to go wide into the other lane to turn and have cars try to overtake me, trucks in Australia have to have signs on the back saying "do not overtake turning vehicle" and people clearly do not read them. Maybe I need to move to the US to drive trucks haha, you don't need a driver for Elaine do ya? 🤣
You could have Chris finish some builds and consider selling them. Or have Chris do a couple of turn-arounds to make some money. I mean: there must be a market for a well sorted out vintage semi, so earn back some of the money you invested. Yes, it must be fun to own a couple of vintage trucks, but you have to be able to afford them and you seem to have a habit of collecting vintage things. The problem is that before you know it, there's quite some money just sitting there in your shop.
I have randomly stumbled across your videos a few days ago and I’m glad I have. Never been into trucking before or had an interest in it until I started watching your videos. Keep up the good work, you’ve earned a subscriber!
Great video Steve Love the camera view on the trailer. It makes me think I'm riding along on your trailer 😊😊😊 Edit it's like I've run up and jumped up on your trailer for a sneaky free ride.
I just want to ty for letting me ride along with you on your rides and deliveries even if it is through the videos you are a great man and you fulfill the dreams of the past and future bty for letting me share Matt AKA DDP be safe out there My friend and brother and friends and everybody yuuuuup ps remember to keep it safely between the lines yuuuuup
Started following you because I saw your video picking up a box truck in my hometown at copart. Stayed because I fell in love with Orwell. Whatever content you put out is great!
I understand your position that a sitting truck makes no money and a breakdown on the job also costs reputation for dependability. Do all you can to ensure a safe dependable truck to keep the revenue coming in. Thanks for the ride along Steve.
I laughed as you mentioned Tennessee… I was at the davy crockett on I-81 and this guy was in there talking like the civil war had just ended 6 months ago, cussing up the yankees and muttering up a storm… takes all kinds!
Hey Steve, Santa Claus is on his way soon, can’t you get him to bring you a new drivers seat on Christmas Day, I’m sure it’s long over due, it would make your travels more rewarding, and keep your back in good shape. Stay safe mate, happy holidays to you and Jen & Family🎉
Rob thats a geo cache you should always sign it and leave a token if you will when my wife gears you talking she always joins ne lol keep up the good work we love you ron
Had to laugh Steve. Two videos ago you were calling Dothan Goshan. I was real curious if you meant Dothan. Wife’s cousin used to live there, spent a little time out that way. Safe travels brother. Enjoying the shop content and Chris’ “blue” makeover!
When you talked about maybe moving your business. FLORIDA, SOUTH DAKOTA, TENN. DO NOT HAVE STATE INCOME TAX. things to consider. Do not think FLORIDA would be so good for flatbed though. I think SOUTH DAKOTA would be great for RGN though with all the farmers and tractors and machines needing to be moved and FARGO NORTH DAKOTA has a CASE IH plant.
i would run hard thru Brigham and Alanta ga before work people trying to get to work Knoxville tn same run hard at night. i run thru VA last week fuel was a good price up 81 pa 4.00 gal
Man, everything is pricey now. A replacement hear pump for my place in Arizona is at least $15k, mostly likely more. A/C is not an option in southern AZ.
Steve, love the night shots. They are very calming. I've been away from driving for quite a few years. I am just curious about new log standards. How many hours can you be on duty? How many hours can you drive? How many miles can you drive per your log day?
One needs to spend bigger If they want better and more dependable stuff just My thought process on things junk gets one more junk better quality get one better results ty for letting me share Matt AKA DDP be safe out there My friend and brother and friends and everybody yuuuuup
STEVE U &CHRIS are a fantastic job on doing vedio .Id watch ur channel,C & C EQUIPMENT, LETSDIG18,DRIT PERFECT. Family owns business. Murphy DESIEL in Arizona he one of a kind .Keep up all the great fantastic PHENOMENAL JOB.
Your choices are hurricanes or tornadoes and all the weather factors that come with each type just a thought to ponder ty for letting me share Matt AKA DDP be safe out there My friend and brother and friends and everybody yuuuuup
hot shot bob trucks are a big thing here in the south to get a small load on a airplane by xx from xx 2 bob trucks may offset things just things i have seen . one driver paying Chris rebuilding trucks you're eating hotdogs for supper it's hard to do
Man, that truck sounds fucking AWESOME!!! It's nice to hear a non-emissions truck. New viewer here and I'm glad I found your channel!!

Enjoy yourself as best you can. I can't imagine being 70. But years ago I thought 47 was "old".
Orwell sounding as good as ever!
Orwell never stops working. IT wants more work, more long distances with heavy stuff loaded. Good job Orwell!
Love your real time driving footage steve 💯💪🏾
Great video Steve really enjoy all the different camera angles and your commentary and the music. Thanks for sharing your trip out of Florida stay safe Steve.

Love the video start to finish! You and Orwell always make my day!
Another great video Steve on Orwell's Adventures. I love listening to the sound of the motor humming along the highways of America.

I'm the one who told you about the story when I was a kid with my grandmother.
My dad drove truck for 53 years and you sound just like he did when he was done with trucking something he loved and also was his life good luck
16:14 *Yes!* I've missed that Truck Stop Karen. Thank you! 😁
Me too! 😂
Me three 🤡
Orwell’s trailer appears to have been given some love, looks good. I hope and wish you the best of luck with everything you do. I really enjoyed your content. May the Lord continue to bless you and your company as well as your family!!! Safe travels my friend. Keep trucking safe!!!
Steve has a mechanic that takes care of it.

I still laugh every time I hear that, "I'm The Manager".
Brilliant video, especially the different camera angles, thank you .

We will soon be taking in cash jobs. One reason you will soon see progress in the "Merch Wagon, Chapel" trailer.
Love the content-Steve. I've always wanted to live in Florida also, but at 75 now-I think I missed my window.
Stay safe!
Keep on Truckin and doing each days work to your best Steve!
Orwell looking great. Love the cab over content.
Definitely a fan of the night time shots. Especially when it's raining.

Luv the night time shots
That's cool you were here in Florida, I'm watching here in Fort Myers
I miss Florida. Ft Meyers, home of Six Bends Harley Davidson. Or did they sell it?
Great video Steve
Love the camera view on the trailer. It makes me think I'm riding along on your trailer 😊😊😊

Gotta love having to wear a safety vest with a bright yellow shirt. I’ve been told shirt not good enough unless it has reflective tape on it.
Right where the video ended (Windy Hill exit) you were about three miles south of the exit where I live. Enjoy the content, safe travels.
Hell of a long driving distances !!! LOL😴
I laughed as you mentioned Tennessee… I was at the davy crockett on I-81 and this guy was in there talking like the civil war had just ended 6 months ago, cussing up the yankees and muttering up a storm… takes all kinds!

Guess I'm gonna have to go out and show steve how to do it !!
There is potential for bigger than that once we have more running equipment.
Steve, love the night shots. They are very calming.
I've been away from driving for quite a few years. I am just curious about new log standards.
How many hours can you be on duty?
How many hours can you drive? How many miles can you drive per your log day?

A lot of commerce on that Hi-way.
Brother, come on down to NC. Our climate is very much like Fl. and the people around my area, Ft. Bragg, are transplants just like Fl.
When I was Air Force, I was in Goldsboro. Seymour Johnson AFB.
@fsctrucking I know that area well. Wayne County is a nice area. We live 22 miles east Ft. Bragg. I call it Gods country. 😅
Steve I’m in Tennessee and wouldn’t mind a northern around me.
