Thank you Jaxon! I don't think it's only social media that's the issue.. it's the phone in general. In my experience, spending a lot of time on my phone lead to my depression then OCD then schizophrenia. I haven't seen a therapist or anything or told anyone about it but it's obvious since I'm having anxiety attacks way often and delusions. And I've realized that whenever I'm having anxiety attacks or ocd thoughts my breathing stops. I'll definitely take your advice and start the breathing meditation tomorrow.
I like to find a quiet space, close my eyes, and focus on my breathing through my nose. When you notice your mind start to wander, focus your attention back on your breathing. This is called mindful meditation, and it can help you learn how to control your attention. Best of luck!
