I went to Church Sunday, but didn't understand a thing since it was all in Greek. PRAISE GOD for not keeping the meaning and lovely message of this past Sunday from me!!! THANK YOU with all my heart your eminence. 🙏☦️

Dear Ivy, Glory to Jesus Christ! If I could offer you, from my own experience some words of encouragement. I was a convert to holy Orthodoxy from the Latins, not understanding the Greek language. It was pointed out to me when I was struggling to understand the words in the divine services, to follow along as best as I could with my service book. I always looked at this as picking up my cross and following as best I could show God that I want to be a child in His church. I also was taught that all who attend the most holy and divine liturgy receive sanctification. The prayers of sanctification are prayed silently by the priest in the altar. This is a great blessing for all! May God bless you not to become discouraged by the language used in the services. It is such a blessing to attend the liturgy no matter what language is used. May God bless you with strength and perseverance!
      In Christ,
      Father Jacob
