Like right now, here in the US we try to mandate vaccines and people resist because its against their will. Around the world if we impose democracy like here, people will resist. I fought in Fallujah during Operation Vigilant Resolve in 2004 and remember having to police call a road called Route Violet because we had General Conway and General Mattis coming out for a quick visit. Route Violet at that time was basically no man's land. It was the road that divided us from the enemy. They are inevitably backstabbed, chewed up and spat out by DC beltway insiders and media, have their reputations destroyed and are basically hoisted up on a pike to serve as a warning to anyone else who would dare to do the same. Unfortunately, in practice, there appears to no difference between an incompetent hierarchy and a malicious one. I pull that from the quote we all know about good men doing nothing and evil persisting.
Our military and our politics, up and down it's ranks has promoted incompetence (for optics) over accountability. I'm sure there are many good people in the mix, but it truly is a war between them. Not a hot war, not even a war of information, but a war between all men's own hearts. This is what happens when you drag God, religion and morality out of any structure.
Expect our military to protect us? They can't even do so against a small enemy abroad, what about a massive near peer?
Wouldn't it stand to reason that the same corruption that persists on the Afgan. / US scale could occur on a larger one?
If anyone can listen to this and not hear war alarms stateside, then they're deaf. Buckle up friends, it's only going to get worse from here. But the only way out is thru. And I wish what's coming to come during my time that my children may never know what we're about to find out.
