PREACH Lala. As someone who will be 4 years sober next month, I completely agree about drunk driving. I also empathize and understand the struggle of those facing addiction, but we need to keep our side of the street clean, and take accountability for our actions. The stories in the rooms are heart breaking, but seeing others fighting back and making changes is so inspiring. We do get better. Thank you for your voice around sobriety and your journey; it has helped me a lot and I feel SEEN.

I was in the ER (as I’m struggling with these persistent health issues), and I was in a waiting room for hours in a hard plastic wheelchair seat and you all kept me company! Life it always changes, live in the moment. Its hard to live in the moment but these are the funnest best days with your daughter 💕 Its so amazing watching them grow like little human sponges daily.

I was texting people throughout and my texts went from block, to cursive, to hieroglyphics. I’ve never heard anyone else say this. My mom ended up saving my life & it was also a guy who got me into it saying a similar thing. This story gave me the chills
Harm reduction can be a tough thing to wrap your head around, but the bottom line is that it saves lives. It’s the reason I carry Narcan. Everyone deserves to be saved. ❤

I will never addict shame its a disease people. Lets be honest mist addicts are not going to be responsible about their addiction. But people like Shannon have the money to get the best treatment they need anywhere in the world and most likley a spa like facility vs. someone who wakes up ready doesnt have the funds, support or the time to wait until a bed becomes available.
