I'm aware us skaters see the world differently....some see a concrete curb separating two car parks - we see a nice, juicy gap. How does Jaws see the world? I've been skating for eighteen years and when I see a 20 stair....I see 20 stairs to walk up and down. Jaws sees a kickflip melon or stale fish. Crazy man. Truly crazy. Most of the drops he takes would actually brake both legs if he kicked his board away.
dude.. just ollie one stair, when you are comfortable do two, when you master that, do three, when you master that do five... etc. I did this and I was popping tricks off 17 + stairs.
Djdz, bullshit. Yeah, 1 stair, 2 stair etc. the day I landed 2, I landed 7 before the end. My max was 15. Popped a shifty Ollie just to make the distance with a 5 metre run up. Eventually broke my ankle trying to kickflip it.....twice. 12 months apart. I was 13. Ruined my potential skating career, now I'm just the guy at the local park that can land more switch tricks than regs. "17+ tricks"? Where's your cover on thrasher? I mean, 17 is a big achievement but to land 'tricks' as in more than one? Btw, it isn't as simple as the 1 stair, 2 stair progression smart arse. If you land with both feet on the nose down 5 you could probably roll away without any damage to yourself or board. I learnt down 12 stair drops that I HAD to land perfect to avoid cracking/snapping a board. I've been skating for 18 years now. Before RUclips was invented I was at my prime, so show me you multiple 17 stair tricks killer. Ask Reynolds what is a harder impact: 8 stairs? Or 15? Or 17......?
Sam O'd I was the first person to do a 1080, and i did it on a vert ramp (which is harder than the mega ramp) but because youtube wasnt around i didnt bother filming it, then i stubbed my toe which ruined my skating career. Now I'm the guy down the park who can tick tack longer than anyone, the other day i did 1 hour 34 minutes and 23 seconds without stopping.
guys, just watch the video and shut up, it is CRAZY. People who do these types of tricks arent here arguing about it, they are doing them and they are in videos like this.
I'm 43 years old I've been surfing my entire life, half of it competitively. I've seen a ton of skaters come and go but this guy is on a level Beyond anybody I've ever seen. good on you brother !
Jaws is the Steph Curry of skateboarding. Who would expect that some skinny little kid could go big better than literally ALL of the competion, and be smooth as butter while doing it. Legend
yeah of course it's fucking sick but it's extremely disappointing that like 90% of the footage especially the best tricks have already been in his real street part.. i was looking forward to a lot of new bangers but most of what i saw was old footage that's already been used... but still amazing of course jaws is incredible i wonder how his body can take all that impact
10 years later, you come to see this video. What seemed like yesterday. Your dreams of becoming a pro skater just getting crushed by reality. And now you’re 30 and here to just find that feeling again of feeling pumped up to go skateboard.
He does everything, I love it!! I wish I was that good so I could look at the world as my playground, but right now that world is limited to the map in Skate 3.
Excuse the pun, but that was jaw-dropping! What's so great about skateboarding is that it's constantly evolving. I remember watching Bones Brigade 4: Public Domain when it first came out in 1988 and thinking a small handrail slide was amazing.
For me (and im sure there are others) the big gaps went from Jamie Thomas - Leap of faith, to Josh Casper - That old Osiris video + elsewhere, to the Jaws. No doubt about it, this guy has conquered the big gap phenomena. Sick!!!
ear to ear smile after every massive gap. Enjoy this amazing guy while you can...because, if he ever slams on one of those astronomical drops, he's gonna splatter like roadkill.
The best part about his skating is the big smile on his face the whole time
Oath to that, no matter what sport you do, i think Jaws is a great inspiration for it all :) the can-do-happy-go-lucky attitude to living
I had to get knee surgery just from watching this .
+Steve Wunda :)
edwar carrillo H lol dumbass
lmfao
You can't land things on Skate 3 that Jaws lands in real life...
Totally
+Brad “TVRTLEMVN” Hagler :)
Haha of course, video games have to be realistic, unlike someone...

That is so true. When I see a 20 stair I immediately think of Jaws

Love the little dedication to Dave Bachinsky at the beginning there with the kickflip down El Toro.
Respect for the Video Edit and Audio Edit.
The Music Sync to frame is AWESOME!
That last clip was pretty nutty. For being so long and lanky, he has great fucking body control.
The song choice is perfect!

The sole definition of board control and balance
Jaws is the sickest!
That... Was... SICK!!!
Awesome!!!
love this part
I'm not sure how it is humanly possible for his bone structure to sustain an impact of that magnitude. For sure he is part alien
A legend in the making. He needs to win SOTY.
one of the few skaters to hit el toro with multiple tricks
If you dont include the rail, then you're right!
THIS IS AMAZING! 👏👏
Amazing talent and skill
Amazing part.
Maybe in the near future there will be exoskeleton leg braces that will allow skaters to clear twice the distances as currently possible.
