This is one of my favorite scenes in movie history. Knowing the character of "The Basher," so well, this is just golden. Try watching all three films and think of them as a treatise on teamwork and faith. You will be move by the team's tenacity and willingness to fall for one another,
Tokyo Bay even though 12 wasn’t very good, 11 and 13 are my top two favourite movies. Such a kick-ass cast, the music is fantastic, the screenwriting is out of this world.

Probably because of how utterly dumbfounded al Pacino looks in this scene lmao, he plays it so well , his whole face is a mask of “wtf is going on”. He’s likely hired this guy months ago and paid him and likely thinks that the dude is off the booze or worse it’s such a good scene

Always find it funny how Basher is supposed to be from London but can put on such a convincing, natural American accent lol. Before anyone says it, I know Don Cheadle is American, I’m talking about the character, Basher haha.
@@ajdominguez1002 we'll never know for sure, but Howard seemed more of a plausible "military man" than Cheadle (at the time of the replacement anyway). Cheadle grew into the role, no doubt, but making switches doesn't always work

I never focused on the "a man who jumped 36 Greyhound buses, end to end!" Just as an FYI, a Greyhound bus is about 45 feet long. So that's 1,620 feet, or 540 yards (approx 494 meters, or about half a kilometer). Five plus football fields? What was he jumping them in? A plane?? And I get that it's part of his exuberance. I just never did the math before. Cheers.
don't encourage the debate . Rhodes did jump 32 buses end to end....lol honnestly I pictured him reading a poster somewhere in the casino on his way into Bank's office...which would be exactly as phenomenal as it is funny@@paulsd9255
Awww...... Man the clip is cut before the best part. Pacino then turned to look at the screen only to see 13 non-good-looking hillbilly faces, which is the most hilarious part.
"Are you in yet?
"I hate that question"

That patriotic dance with the flute motion and, “Fender Rhodes is a…diddiditdiddt…I’m a goddamn American Icon!” Is the best scene in the movie.
HILARIOUS 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Definitely the funniest.
I love that part.
Playing stars and stripes forever on the flute
😂😂😂😂

Don Cheadle is a tremendous actor.
A GOAT on the low but it takes time realize it! But as I run back films is keep seeing Don KILLING EVERY ROLE
He's good, but his british accent in the Ocean's trilogy is pretty appalling. It's better here in this scene cuz he's back to American.
Indeed he is
He's a goddamn American icon,
I totally agree 👍 👌
Fender Rhodes is a goddamn American icon.
Thanks Han Solo!
Its a..tidititidititi..goddamn american icon.
