I was able to hit 2790Mhz with 975mv and +1000Mhz on the Memory Clock on my MSI RTX 4070 Gaming X Trio. Max Temp is 46c on full load. Thanks for the tutorial.

just wanted to say man, amazing video. My idle temps went from 39C to 34C, and helped me achieve a more stable fps. I put my trust in you and it worked. I'm currently using the +1000mhz clock but I might switch to 900 if I start to experience black screens more than twice a month
I decided to give this a go on my Zotac twin edge 4070 super cause the temps and coil whine was unbearable. My temps dropped by around 10 degrees and the coil whine is much less noticeable. Thanks a lot for this vid! Saved me from RMA:ing the whole thing 😄
great video. what I like about is, that your goal is keeping the stock clocks while undervolting, so you don´t lose performance while getting lower Watts and temps. What I´d lilke to see in the wend of this video were some results in form of charts for camparison.

Just did the first preset 900mV 2550MHz and +800 MHz on memory with my 4070 MSI VENTUS 2X E OC, max temperature with my custom fan curve in Heaven Benchmark 54 celsius and in Cyberpunk 2077 59 celsius :) Also the power draw is way lower, max i saw was 140W. Helps a lot with these hot summer days, thanks

did the safe undervolt with 900mv and +800 memory on my kfa2 4070 and had a crash after half an hour with a direct x error on bf2042... never had a crash before then... maybe raise the voltage to 950? lookin forward for some advice :) dont wanna run stock cause temperature is not that fine

@@ImWateringPSUs Nope I have tested without running it on startup and then checked the clock speeds with GPU-Z and it keeps it. Or maybe I'm tripping but I have tested it like 3 times now and the undervolt stays.
What temperatures on memory are ok? Got 84 on my asus dual 4070 in superposition 8k test, but in gaming it usually get to 74-76. Is it ok? And why are temperatures so high in superposition test?

Thanks for the video, but, if GPU clock of RTX 4070 (normal) is 1920 Mhz, is not dangerous to change to a higher frecuency as 2550 or 2750 Mhz) although the voltage is lowered?
Does it matter which 4070 model / manufacturer I have? Because the different models have slightly different specs, no? I'm thinking about getting Asus 4070 dual OC.
My memory is capped at 5001 for some reason when i try your uv profile (first one). But when I use 920 mv at 2550Mhz it gets back to 11501. So should I use it that way or is that damaging my components?
Sounds like a bad bios flash on the gpu if it caps at 5001 MHz for the memory, but getting it back at 920 mv might be hardware issue since it might be detecting not enough power for the memory, recommend asking else where if the default doesn't give you normal memory speed.

Any form overclocking 'voids' the warranty. Even xmp profiles for ram technically count as voiding your warranty. Its very hard for it to stick though, and probably just as hard to prove that you overclocked anything. Lol
2750 is not actually sustained under load, because power limit and temp limit are reached, so by setting it at a constant 2750 we get exactly the same performance. We could also push it higher tho :)
@@ImWateringPSUs Honestly worked for me perfectly well no crashes but on my 7900 gre i cant even overclock a decent amount else i just get crashing and artifacting, cannot overclock it to become equal with the 4070 super lol and i dont know why

In some of your videos you hit -250 for the clock before modififying the curve (rtx 3060), but in other tutorials you hold shift and drag up the whole curve and then flatten out the curve (rtx 4070). What is the difference between the two methods and why should one choose one over the other? I preferred the -250 method cause I thought that I will be getting lower temperatures over the other method. Am I wrong?

I follow this tutorial to undervolt my ASUS TUF OC. But I lost too ~300Mhz from Clock. I tried to follow the same logic going to 2850@910mV but crashed... Then 2850@1000mV and went well, but the watts and fps didn't respond as I wanted... What do you suggest me?
Watch out: the 2850 you see isn’t sustained all the time. I would personally settle for 2750 at 925/950mV personally. Also increase the memory clock! If you wanna push 2850, I think 975 might work

910 is min volt, lol. Doesnt matter if you set it at 900

up the voltage.. it's very rare for 900mV to be stable since it's a very low voltage. i have my 4070 running at 950mV 2730MHz

You’d need to test in-game, the benchmark is too light. I’d say 1 hour in game and you’re 95% stable :)
But you don't need it to run in background if you apply with the Windows icon activated?

Nope, not at all! Boost clock is actually around 2700Mhz. But for extra safety you should subscribe to the channel :p

You have to either bring settings down in games then or put the Voltage up for stability and test

When I did this my clock won't go to 2750, stays at 2520 normally and 2745 when under load.

i got the asus tuf oc as well im running it on 2700 at 935mV watts in game have lowered alot and temps are around 47C
