    The museum is a true gem. There is so much history package into a small place.

      It’s a great local collection and all the recovered items are directly from the fighting in the area so you know it’s all genuine and as a result the owners of the museum really do care about their history which is always great to see!

    Thank you for this video. I will be taking a Viking river cruise In June and this gave me a great insight to the area.

      You’re welcome Peter! When I was at Hill 351 I Saw the tour bus there so I hope you get to see lots of the area! It’s truly stunning especially in the summer (and the wine and beer is good too!)

      I have some loose plans in the early stages for the 517th!
      I’ve studied that unit for years and been to their battlefields in Southern France and the Bulge but this was years ago so time to go back and document the Battling Buzzards!

      My uncle was a sgt in B co. I grew up listening to his stories and learned much respect for what they did. I have all his war souvenirs which I have kept out of respect for him. He was proud of them
