Same shitty sound via Bluetooth with an iPhone 15 Pro Max (that is on the compatibility list!). Problem seems to be the audio codec that is used by the iPhone - at least it sounds like that.
I think DJI just pulled the rig and forgot about updating BT compatibility altogether, if anything. They've had months to release new firmware, and they one did once or twice. I think.
Thanks for sharing, I just bought the DJI mic 2 Transmitter to use it with Bluetooth paired to my samsung S23 , but I was surprised to not be able to use it with the main camera and not the pro because I need filters😢 is it possible to use the samsung main camera and not the pro one with the usb receiver pluged to the phone? Could you please make a test for me? Have 10days to return the Bluetooth to amazon. Thanks from Canada
When you say Pro are you talking about the Pro mode in the Samsung camera app? Also if you are using the USB transmitter to the s23 then your audio will come out perfect. It's just annoying to have to do that extra step but it does work perfectly.
I see that it's on the list of compatible devices. I don't know what happened, but after the recent update, the Galaxy Z flip 4 ( also on the compatibility list) also has terrible audio. If I didn't know any better, it would seem like DJI is just trying to quietly forget about the Bluetooth features.
I am having a similar issue with the DJI mic 2 connected to my iPhone 14 plus, which is on the compatibility list. Via Bluetooth the quality is very poor compared to when it is plugged into the receiver. The received also tends to drop the connection from time to time too.
Interesting. Sounds like DJI got their own list wrong. Have you update everything to the latest update? I haven't tried Bluetooth after updating everything, but it might help with your situation.
Thanks for this awesome video. Unfortunately when I use the native camera app to capture video, I'm not able to choose the audio source in Samsung S23 Ultra.
Thanks for watching. I believe you should be able to choose the audio source when you switch over to PRO mode. If anything, you can leave the settings as is and just choose what you want audio wise.
Good vid. Looks like I'll be returning the DJI Mic 2 bc I have the z fold 3. Need to find a mic that connects via Bluetooth to the GoPro Hero 12... DJI Mic 2 wasn't it 😞
I'm hoping they really fix this soon. Luckily, I record a big percentage of my videos on the Flip 4, so it works out, but it's still annoying. Does the audio sound weird when using it with your Fold 3?
I just unbox this mic it doesn't work with my lavs it doesn't connect through my phone through Bluetooth.... And hunts photo and video told me it's a non-returnable item
That's an interesting return policy to say the very least. Have you tried checking on the update that's available on dji's website? I don't know if the current update came with your mic set but it's definitely worth taking a look and trying to see if it works.
@@WIHRC yeah apparently it's only DJI products something about the ordering process or something. They said I could return the rode pro if I bought it. I just wasn't sure yet
Got it. That's still a very unfair return policy in my eyes. Regardless, it seems as if DJI put out another product that wasn't quite ready yet. I'd imagine that the next few updates would address the issue, but that is also to be seen.
I'm still going to hold out and see what they do. Im holding on to that dream of not having to bring that whole case with me if I don't need to all the time.
I have to look the sarmonic up. What program do you use to sync audio? I usually have to do it manually for my phone comparison videos, and it's one of the most difficult parts for me. I remember hearing that there was some software that would do it automatically.
@WIH_R_C I edit with power director mainly. That's on mobile and PC, but you can only sync the sound on PC. I recently also got Lumafusion on my chromebook, but haven't tried syncing sound yet. Chromebooks don't do good with 4k so don't use it for that much.
Uggg I have the S24 ultra. No support. Thanks for the info. Solved many questions
I have a Oneplus 11. I plug the receiver in my phone and it still doesn't use the audio from the DJI mic 2
It looks like there might be a new firmware released on the download page that might help, but I can't say for sure.

Pixel 7 audio with DJI Mic2 sounds rubbish

@@WIHRC Wow fantastic!! I'm able to switch to the Bluetooth speaker, that's so much!! 👍👍💪💪
@@anandrajaram1655 no problem glad it worked for you.
Had the same problem, have any one know if I can use my mic with the normal camera and not the pro because i need filters

thank you so much❤
Thanks for saving my money, DJI support is horrible

I didn't have a lot of faith in a Bluetooth connection.

@WIH_R_C I have just been bringing one of me Saramonic Blink Me Transmitters and doing the internal recording. Then sync the sound later.
