I've used one 2 years now. The pocket on the end is perfect for a box of shells, standing upright, easy access . I use the bottom pocket for gear not used as much [I find it a little more awkward to get in to] like first aid kit, hand pruners, zip ties, cordage, multitool ect.. The thermos, bottle carrier on the end is great again easy access. The top main pocket is great for fast in and out stuff, calls, snacks, headlamp cell phone and the plastic pockets are good for permits one side wallet on the other. The shoulder strap is really good with a contoured non slip pad that won't dig in when carrying long distance. They are a well made and sturdy bag that permanently retains their shape, pricey but built to last a lifetime.
thanks for the review, I pretty much carry what you do + my dogs ecollar and some snacks so I think its safe to say I need to go bigger lol, you saved me a trip to return something I can't use. I appreciate that
Thank you many times over! Your the only person with a review that actually helped me out. I also have the redhead blind bag and I find that I take way too much gear because of how big the bag is lol. I think this rig em right bag may be what I’m looking for to force me to re think what I actually need for a day of hunting and have a much lighter and more manageable walking to the blind.
You are welcome...funny enough, I bought this one to replace that same redhead. I now have the Rigem Right Shell Shocker on its way...quality of these bags is great, and it’s the XL...so stay tuned.
I just got mine and I’m happy yo day it’s fantastic. As far as stuff goes I’m sure you can keep the tools and zip ties in your glove compartment.. maybe freeing up some space.. this bag is one of the best bags I’ve ever used and glad I got it... great review
It seems to me that the bottom in the main compartment is attatched to the interior wall with velcro?? Could you in that case fold the bottom of the main compartment down to create a open interior from top to bottom?
