Because of this one reading which I showed a 14-yr-old student today, she looks at poems completely differently and said it opened up a whole new world to her regarding poetry.
This was BEAUTIFULLY read. Wonderfully meaningful without being one speck overly dramatic. I am extremely happy to find this to show my high school students that I tutor.
How absolutely tranquil in tone, read as a lullaby of a remembered day of blissful contentment amongst the warmth of the daffodils. An afternoon so peaceful in joy, it remains one to daydream upon when alone with our philosophical ruminations…bringing a sweet happiness to the soul!! 🤟🏻🙏🏻
Wow! My father ( English born) used to recite this to us all the time..... in his English accent..... your rendition sounded more beatnik with your accent and delivery ..... equally as beautiful and heartfelt .... thank you 💖💕
