Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io.
The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?
Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Check the changelog here for information on the latest updates. The game is also open source to allow users to mod or simply look through its assets.

9:00 - I thought for a second that Scorched was mimicking the "Path to Deicide" crew, that would've been a nice Easter egg
oh it's actually a good cover of secret exit with exe wow.
Also I like pick of Scorched as MX because it also references the fact that there were going to be different characters in Secret Exit Act 4 before it was scrapped
(Unused Pattern with that idea is in the Act 2.5/Act 3 FLP, not the optimized one though)

Xenophanes going backwards to his first form is a really interesting concept. Maybe Boyfriend and Girlfriend are in V2 while Pico is in some restored version.

brooo this is such a banger!!!!! one thing that confuses me is that why did xenophanes revert back to his normal state instead of staying in his god form?
In the storyboards of the ending (Final Escape), bf leaves the game sonic.exe after that, the TV turns off. You can say I borrowed the ending. And why in the usual form? Corny, I'm not an artist, and in final escape at the end he was in his usual form X)
