@proveallthingsaudits I could see that, I also looked into their lifetime warranty lead times if you need a swap out at the time I filmed this you were looking 2-4 weeks. It's a nice thought, just not for me with how much it costs.
A good test for the drill bits would be sharpen some milwaukee multi-purpose bit inserts up to match the badd-dog ones with their $200 diamond disk. That is essentially what the bad dog ones are. In some of the promo vids it showed them sharpening the edge and said that was part of warrenty, lol.
I'm not a fan of either, the Lenox discs worth just as well if not better. they're a fraction of the cost and when I need a new one a short trip to the local hardware store and I'm back at it. On the other hand these days i just buy quality fiber discs.
Most definitely, at first, it was hey this will save me a bunch of money! It didn't even cross my mind that I wouldn't be worth the money. Luckily enough, they have a 60 trial period.
I'm just not a fan of how slow it is and how much material you lose per cut traditional wheels. I would buy the Lennox, Diablo, or Spyder wheels before I spent $$ on the Bad Dog. That just me, though.
I own the big set of bits, THEY BREAK IMMEDIATELY…. The disc is amazing… but the bits don’t drill ANYTHING like the demos lead you to believe…

The drill bits aren't great, but the discs are good.

Deciding between a single cut off wheel or an entirely new m18 Grinder for the same price was an easy decision for me.

You should use the same tool in between test. Rpm and torque is different with each tool
I dont disagree I should've shown that. I did use the bad dog on both grinders off camera wasn't impressed on either for the $$.
Not impressed with the drill bits but I do like the HDII grinding/cutting wheels since I don't have to change wheels between jobs.

You can buy a second m18 Fuel grinder for the price of the one disc. That's what I did.
Bad Tools, Dawg!
Most definitely!!
