I think the whole artstyle topic really depends on the intention one has with creating art especially when someone wants to make money with their art. You wanna be a game or cartoon or comic artist working on many different projects? Then you must be able to work in many different styles. Do you wanna build a consistent brand with your art that people recognize? Then rather focus on one cohesive artstyle with similar motifs. If someone wants to go the second path but really feels the need to draw in different artstyles they at least should consider not posting certain artworks that lead to an inconsistent brand image. Or they could create different accounts. Or do you want to be known as an artist in a personal way meaning that you as a person are recognized on social media or by brands? Then different artstyles might be okay but at least their content must have a certain recognizability. People follow artists like WLOP for his consistent semirealistic style. If he did anime art all of a sudden while still working in his usual artstyle (both under the same name WLOP) then people would be utterly confused. And if small artists who just grow their popularity do sth like that it could worsen their chances of being recognized. Still, I agree to your statements concerning artstyles since changing things up every once in a while does have many benefits.

@@bluehorribledarkness1723 makes sense!
These are precious advice! I also think that not following rules is one of the best recommendations for an artist. Congrats on your art and channel.
thank you so much for your feedback! rules can be a great guidance but in art they can be limiting aswell :) 💕
