Fun Fact: Because the Miners *auto push* to ANY inventory above them, YOU DON'T NEED AN EXTRACTING BELT
You can straight up just PUT A BELT ON THEM AND IT WILL WORK
But having a backlog in form of drawer is nice
Not to mention he could just not use conveyors and connect it all with cabinet

Careful using copper for capstones cause they stop working when they oxidize. Also you can place the material in the miner as well using the block placer as well as the frames!
If you make a 3x3 grid of the support frame miners, wouldn't you technically get a free miner in the middle since it will be made from the ones around it?

You only need 4 to get one free. Just do it like that -> +
@@damienhallo235 in the 3x3 you have more than one free because those on the side in the middle have 2 free Walls.
Best would be all miners that you have inside one big rectangle.

Hey, Isaac! I've been playing the pack since you started and I have some tips that saved me a TON of time.
1. The item router can go underneath your jumbo furnace and it will act as a hopper with the ability to route items in any direction. It also does not have a buffer so items won't get stuck in it. Additionally, due to it's ability to filter items you can make the items from the miner go into your system while leaving manually placed items (like clay buckets) in the output buffer of the furnace itself.
2. At the end of your hopper conveyor belt on the jumbo furnace, run some conveyor belts in a loop that feed back into it again because sometimes items get caught on the edge and can clog up the entire conveyor system.
3. I couldn't tell if you set up a normal stone miner but if you didn't, I highly recommend it as you'll need it by the tons later on.
4. The coke oven is actually quite quick in this pack so you can have just 2 for a good portion on the pack: 1 for coal coke to be put into your jumbo furnace and blast furnace and another to go into a drawer for use in crafting. Depending on how much steel/jumbo smelting you are doing, you go coal coke positive with just 1 oven, albeit slowly.
5. Turn your apples into potatoes and jumbo smelt them. It costs basically nothing, especially if you use the jumbo furnace trick to not use extra fuel, and are substantially better than apples!
6. If you plan on using the "Little Logistics" mod in the near future, make sure to future proof your base for it because I had to completely remodel to fit it in with the base I had going.

imagine making the wholw floor out of tims that would be so complicated but also rlly easy to have one network for everything
I solved #2 by feeding directly into a chest which fed the furnace with a hopper instead of using the dropping conveyor.
EDIT: It also solves the problem of too many ores/furnace being too full for personal smelting, stuff gets stored in chest until a slot opens. On a related note use item routers to split automated and normal stuff
I would totally keep it at 63 in the JumboFurnace to make it 64 per cycle. hehe

Also yeah, having a middle section open as a passage for you to walk and stuff seems like it would be very useful.
Also I hope you consider putting a Stone storage so that if you smelt cobble into stone it will auto be ejected. Actually, I hope you redo storage a bit.

the prospector's pickaxe, as far as i know, only has special interactions with colored stone so it's safe to use it on other blocks that need a pickaxe. plus it has really high durability so it would last you much longer.
I think tin is better than copper for the caps because they're the same speed, but you need less tin than copper for bronze so you'll have more of it leftover for making caps. Also the copper oxidized and stops working.
I would personally go and make 2x2 sections, to maximize frame and coal blocks, and lessen the materials needed greatly. I would also group up the 2x2 sections based on if I wanted it to go to the furnace or not.
Just to save a tiny bit of time, you can double right-click on a drawer controller to empty all items from your inventory into the system if they fit, so you don’t have to click on each drawer.
True but that would also get rid of any items he wanted to keep like apples and his crafting materials
You can make a fix for random jumbo furnace items. If you add another drawer with a hopper leading to a chest onto your drawer controller setup any item not already in your drawers will filter into the chest.
You could put an empty, unlocked drawer as part of your drawer system. Then any item that would get stuck in the hopper under the jumbo furnace will instead go in the empty drawer and you can take it out from there.
5:20 I love chipped more than chiseled due to chiseled being laggy and messy (with chipped being more focused towards designers and block choices/variants of which we don't get much)

There is a button on the crafting table that lets you rotate the craft so whenever u fail to craft something like the iron and aluminum research paper u can rotate the items on the grid instead of manually moving them.

I suggest having a second Jumbo Furnace specifically for alloying (& making more Jumbo Furnaces with)

funny thing about the drawer key u can lock and unlock all of the drawers by using the key on the controller
You could also put the coal drawer on the back, if you want to be able to look at the furnace.
You should put all the smeltable ore miners on one side and everything else on the other side.
I think you can craft the frame trims with glass and it will allow you to see the jumbo furnace (i didn't play this mod yet so i actually don't know if it works)
I can't help but think that there could be a relatively simple system to cycle the Jerrycans into the Coke Oven. And then eject the full can into an autocrafter where it makes treated planks, and then eject the empty can to be turned back to the Coke Oven. And if the autocrafter also was set up to make planks from wood... the planks ejected could be returned to the top chest for the treated planks... I think it could be an interesting way to make a storage drawer of treated planks build up on its own, Plus the unlimited automated Coal Coke creation of course.=

dont need to place hoper under tree colector, just place drawer sleve(or controler) direct under and it dilect push into drawer.
for your miners, "why a ring and not a square"? The reason I ask is because you can get "free" miners when you fill it out. For example, if you have a 3 by 3 of miners, the middle miner cost you no extra frames, only the miner block. That kind of effect would keep scaling as you grow the square/rectangle.
I think you should automate compress cobblestone to the highest tear mainly because I want to see you get to the final stage of compressed cobblestone please it may take long, but you have hour long videos. Speed runs only take like three hours that’s with auto cobblestone generator that produce like 1000 per minute
You could argue that even the 2x compressed cobble is close to 1000 per minute as is, it's probably in the 650 range?
The highest tier of compressed cobblestone, on the other hand, produces cobblestone in the millions probably

myabe add extra drawer with not lock thing and it dump other extra out it and stop block hopper. main out is it has own drawer slot (and it enought to empty slot or void upgrade) they try aleady own slot fill first
Not sure if you noticed this but the reason you sometimes have 1 frame to few is because 19*2=38 not 36 and you always end up with 37 frames
you should add a tank to the side of the coke oven that way it can work without you having to manually take the creosote oil out

hey GOC you should add crafting station mod to the game. I see it as a great early game mode and it doesn't break the game.

Im so confused with the extended crafting because I’m trying to lock iron blocks in them but it just keeps making nuggets and I can’t find anything telling me how to lock the recipes

You can make kelp block by auto craft it and turn the leaves into kelps then burn it make it blocks and you will burn 192 items per one block that mean 3 stacks for using one block on kelp
Or you can make auto kelp farm because it's a good source of fuel

So I downloaded the pack and I can play it but don’t know how to get to the sky block world type. Help me plz.
There are 4 different styles of play you can choose from
Default: normal world normal recipes (level-type=default)
Super flat: A complelty super flat world (level-type=flat)
Skyblock: Just you and your island in the sky (level-type=skyblockbuilder\:skyblock)
Hexlands: Biomes are divided into different hexes creating a completely new way to play (level-type=hexlands\:hexlands)
I started watching this series and tried downloading the pack, but It crashes with 1 error. So Ill just have to watch.
I have personally had times that a pack wont work through curse forge, but will work on the separate ftb launcher, so you might try that

may be you place wooden hopper under treefarm instead of barrel or drawer set. ploblem of custom multiblock machine - it has no inventory it self - they didn't try pull out item like other machine, instead thay try fill output slot. wooden hopper has just one slot, so place first item(of corse in this case spaling) and other dump int void

i know this is an older video. but one thing that i dont understand si. why diddent you put down a drawer for every single item you had. it would make things so mutch easyer for you when it comes to finding all the bits and pices you need. i feal that you are stressing so hard core that you are going around in cirkeles. slow down and you wil see that you wil get more done. and i do bellive that you can put blocks of coal in the coke owen just FWY
