Great content as always!!!! Can I get a little more info on your wireless monitoring system. I've been looking for a cost effective efficient system !!! Love the channel
I will have to go look at the box and see. I know when I installed the new boiler earlier this year I put into the details of the video I think of the monitoring system. It works great.
I have seen a few of your videos, it looks like you have a decent operation going there. I am a ew years out from this as I am still clearing trees and building my access on my property but I have been interested in a wood boiler for a while now. I would like to see more about your kiln and that functionality as well as hear some information on this new boiler and what your decision process looked like. I am stuck between the gasification and standard boilers as I want the high efficiency but also want to burn anything in it as I have a ton of trees that have been down for years that will need to be cleaned up. I would love to hear your thoughts.
I have first hand knowledge of a gasser as I’ve owned one for 2 years before going with this boiler that I have now. I do have a full series on the kiln and a ton of videos on the boilers. But I can do a more in depth video on what I think about this boiler vs the gasser I had before.
Do u have the snow melt on its own loop and what temp do u run the snow melt at , is there enough btu on return from house to melt snow ? I was told to hot of water to a slab can crack it ,
Yes the snow melt is on its own loop. The water from the boiler goes through a heat exchanger. The hottest the glycol comes back at will be around 115 when it actually gets up to temp. No need to go any hotter than that. Otherwise yes that will and could cause the concrete to crack.
I'm glad to hear that the larger boiler is working out so well 👍
Great update Matt.
Thank you.

Went through a bunch of old boiler videos and couldn't find it anywhere. Do you have a link to that wireless thermometer you use in your pipes?
I plan to make a video today on the boiler. I will make sure I find again what system I have and will include the links to them.
