LeChuck is at it again, he has kidnapped Elaine, (and also a whole bunch of monkeys) Luckily Guybrush Threepwood has (with the help of the Voodo Lady) put together a Voodo disspelling sword! So rescuing Elaine and Stopping Lechuck should be walk in the monkey park, right? -

After years and years of intense effort, Guybrush has finally grown a tiny little beard XD
Well it had been about a decade since the last MI game, and Guybrush was in his early 20s then, so it’s only taken a decade to grow one, in 20 more he might actually pick up some more manly features.
"Reminds me of me when I was your age". "When was that? Like 20 minutes ago?" This game in my opinion, has one the best game scripts. It was clearly done with love, I wish telltale made a 5th installment of monkey island, but, of course, they had to focus on batman, the wolf among us, and other games that never really captured the sweet spirit of this game. I hope this game gets re-released on the ps4. I own it on gog (sadly it was removed from gog's catalog a few months ago so you can no longer buy it).

yes he did because the year before this came out, TellTale did a Wallace & Gromit adventure game which you can no longer purchase as the licence expired
this game was good, curse of monkey island will always be my favorite, i've played all the monkey island games. all quality even when the graphics got you down like this one, i feel like guybrush doesn't even look like guybrush, the voice acting and script are well worth it. wish they'd make another 2d one like everyone keeps saying

This game reeks of the Telltale Games vibe... too bad they did little to preserve the LucasArts charms. But I'm glad they got the same voice actress for Elaine from the third game.

I really want them to make a sequel, but technically Disney owns Monkey Island now. Still, yes, want a sixth Monkey Island game.
tenchi586 I hope for another Monkey Island game too. Though at the end of the day, that's down to Disney. However, considering that the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is dead (despite the fact their making a fifth entry) why not make a Monkey Island Movie?

I played all 5 chapters and enjoyed ALL of them. I started my point and click days when I was 3 or 4 years old. My cousin used to play MI2 with me and later MI1. This is the closest the series ever came to being really good after MI2. MI3 was meh... and MI4 was a disaster.

I thought MI4 was awesome. Actually had to think pretty hard at some points which kept me from beating it in 2 days.

All of the Monkey Island series are rated T for Teens, mainly for jokes and reference to alcohol. So it is not really a kids' game.

Loved the first four Monkey Island games, these Tales ones were okay but I didn't really dig them so much...
MattySadler imo ToMI was much better than Escape. I really enjoyed the story.
Alldressedup100 yeah guybrush was actually funny here. I've seen escape and he was as bland as plank of wood.

These series died for me after 4th. Lucas killed the this one too. All they did is cash in the great series without showing any real respect or love. Shitty puzzles, shitty voice acting, shitty humor, shitty art design, and shitty story etc... This game doesn't deserve the M in Monkey Island™!!!

The only thing i thought was good was the fact that the bannana picker was used more than once. The story wasn't bad either but gameplay was really terible. Also the puzzles werent really all that fun. At least to me...

God, this game is awful compared to MI 1 to 3. Should never have been made.
The worst addition to the series IMO. The control scheme was pap. The puzzles were too illogical.
I didn't really find these funny also to be honest. They went too cartoony with it all. Not many clever witted jokes or digs and satire related jokes either. Shame really. Im glad they got Earl Boen back to revoice LeChuck though. The original guy they started off with was terrible.
I'd like it to go back to a semi serious tone, like monkey island 2. With lovely hand drawn 2D artwork. Similar to Daedalic's adventure games (Chains of satinav, memoria etc..)

Thank god, Telltale is gone! This game is a prime example why the studio failed! Stupid story telling. Beyond garbage graphics. It can't even be called "Art Style". Its just bad! The lack of Monkey Island music. Gameplay is pure trash. And the jokes are not funny.
