Interesting that only the white girls were described as "beautiful" or "gorgeous" especially the blondes or those who became blond while, the first girl who's obviously beautiful was called "interesting" and the last girl gorgeous Fatima with the striking cheekbones described as "unbeweavable". When white women have weaves they're "extensions"

Facts! When she relaxed the girl's hair (I believe she was a twin) and cut off all of her hair, she sent her home as soon as the makeover was done! Tyra had a lot of nerve telling people what they should "soldier" through, considering she wore nothing but wigs every season.
Samantha didn’t get a pixie cut, they went for “I’d like to speak to the manager” cut

I'm not saying it looked bad, but I just thought if they wanted to cut it, the mid-bob we saw before the full cut looked better on her.

I personally don’t agree with it, but sadly,you can’t really be a model with braces. Also, she must have had bad teeth later on because it’s not very good to have braces at that age. So she must have had dodgy teeth

Allison is one of the great Top Model transformations ever, not just outside but inside. You could tell that that hair made her FEEL beautiful and that showed in her photos, which are still some of the best Top Model ever produced.

For sure. She's the most consistent Top Model contestant, consistently delivered stunning photos, had a strong walk, a great personality without being fake or trying to gain attention, is absolutely stunning looking and seems genuinely kind.
James Keeling I remember her walk being really awkward and robotic for most of cycle 12 but she improved it so much in the final runway that she actually out-walked and outperformed the usually strong walker Teyona. Allison was a good model from the beginning but she grew so much over the cycle and became a great all-around model, that’s what I really love about her, besides her lovely personality 😊

I always found it really funny when Kayla's girlfriend was so against red. The red was not my favorite, but it IS infinitely better than the Little Bo Peep curls she had before.

@@lees2404 True, though to be fair we don't know the context that comment was made in. If it was a serious "if you do this to your hair, we're over" then yes, definitely a bad sign. But everyone has their preferences, and if the comment was made in a more lighthearted way, I don't think it's a big deal.

A lot of girls on ANTM went right back to their old looks even if they liked their makeovers. More than ten years later Allison still has long flowy blonde hair and it suits her soooo well. She's also been one of the most successful models from ANTM.

Fatima makeover was wonderful

I've been saying this to every vids tackling ANTM's best makeovers and I'mma say it again, Britanni's makeover was, if ever, the BEST makeover of the franchise. Her chic cut made her look like a pro supermodel. Kinda contemporary and ancient-y. It emphasized her unique eyes and made her look more fierce. Totally blown away how she looked more beautiful after her makeover. Not to mention the cut they gave her at the finale.

5:11 in my opinion, Molly Sue came out with the best hairstyle to fit her new look. She not only looked like a high fashion model, but like an Academy Award winning actress
Yeah, my heart went out to Fatima more ways then one, her makeover was amazing, but I do feel Shandi or Allison should have been #1 because they looked like totally different people.
Allison's makeover is by far my favorite. I love how her long blonde hair pairs perfectly well with her pale skin and big blue eyes!

Naima is my all time favourite. She had everything: brains, personality, beauty, grace and charm. You could do no better than to emulate her.

Amanda was the first model I ever went "WOW" at after a makeover
It was so beautiful her eyes popped with the ice blonde.
I like her hair but I found it to be a bit brassy. The roots were lighter and the rest was a gold blonde. But it was a lot better than her brown hair.

Brittani other makeover also really beautiful! The short hair is really work for her. It also worked really well for Molly (cycle 16), they should did that makeover the first time instead of gave her that big curly hair
How on earth did Bianca make it on the list but not Chantal nor Jenah? smh. Seriously, Chantal rocked her makeover and Jenah went from regular looking girl to high fashion model. I also missed cycle 14's Raina and cycle 7's Eugena. I do agree with top 3, Allison, Shandi and Fattima looked really beautiful with those makeovers.

They weren't bleaching Bianca's weave it was her real hair that's why she needed her head shaved. Also why did they only call it a weave when it's an African American girl but on white girls it was called extensions. As a hairstylist I'm offended. They make the African American girls sound cheap
Casey did you not see them doing sew ins on the white girls too? They always do sew ins on the antm contestants whether they are black or white. You didn't clarify anything.
You are so right. And for the people attacking this woman's comment, you missed the point. The word weave has a very negative connotation. Why not just call it a sew-in?
@@onceuponatime4080 They almost never do clip ins on ANTM. They do weaves. I remember one of the Caucasican contestants complaining that she had never gotten a weave before the makeover and that it was so painful and she got a rash

If you watch the actual show, when they are using a weave on a white girl, they call it a weave. When using extensions they can it extensions. They are not the same thing!!

Another few that I remember I loved was Tiffany and Furonda's middle parted long hair as well as Amanda's brown to platinum blonde gorgeousness, but Shandi's will always be my favorite.

Have you done one on who changed the most on ANTM? Not just their look but the entire persona. Shandi would definitely be in that group. She just evolved from her first show to her last one. If she hadn’t had the personal drama in Italy, I think she would have won it all.

the top 4 was deserving, number 5 was great but not the best, but from 10-6 was questionable, they're just stood out not the best...cycle 3 amanda, cycle 23 india, cycle 23 courtney, cycle 18 sophie, cycle 13 erin, cycle 13 brittany, cycle 11 mckey, cycle 9 jenah, cycle 8 renee should have make it to the list, for me best makeover of cycle 9 was jenah and erin from cycle 13 should have been in the top 10
