Black History Month: Interview with Marie Costa, from the Black History Project, and Vida Newton

As part of Black History Month, the Very Rev Dr Anthony Cane, Dean of Portsmouth, interviews Marie Costa, organiser of the Portsmouth Black History Project, which seeks to unearth and share the stories of black people who have lived in and contributed to the life, culture and success of the city of Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. He also speaks to Vida Newton, who came to the UK from the Caribbean in the 1950’s and settled with her family in Portsmouth.
