Corvette is my favorite GT Racing Car. In 2009 I saw and heard the GT1 version at Zolder. Amazing car!

Just to make clear: SRT retrofitted this car with the 7L engine from a C6.R GT1, so it's making at least 600 BHP

7 seconds of flybys and I thought that thing sounds like my beloved C6R GT1 car and not like the GT2s which were a good bit

@@pauljeitler7678 yes i know someone in the SRT team that told me that. SRT (Selleslagh Racing Team) was the first privateer team to get a c5.r back in the day and probably all corvette c5.r and c6.r that are in europe, were brought there through SRT. They have a history with corvettes since 2003 and only recently changed to a mercedes-AMG to drive in GT4, with great succes i might add.

This is my kind of ASMR. That sound gives me the tingles. Surprised that the 5.5ltr only pumps out 491bhp though. It's capable of much more. Guess it's limited by the race series rules.

Yup, youre right about that. Class riles limits them to that power figure cause of restrictor plates. Without them, itl make well over 600hp.
