This video shows how to apply conditional formatting to variances. Specifically, it shows how to work with multiple conditional formatting rules, how to use a helper column, and how to remove a helper column. We will use a conditional formatting formula to achieve our objective.

I'm trying to insert a conditional formatting rule to highlight a cell if it is over 10% +/- the prior month AND over $1,000 difference. I created helper columns, but the highlighting doesn't seem to match.
