Just a quick tip for sipho if he’s reading this. All five of Ares (skeletron prime)’s parts share a health bar, so no matter what part you target first it’ll do equal damage. Same with Artemis and Apollo (the twins), they share a health bar.

I opened up my phone after rewatching all of sipho last night, and I come in to a new calamity video that has been up for 22 mins. Life is good

There is a potion named ''Zerg potion'' added by the calamity mod, it increases the mobs spawn rate A LOT and you can use it with the battle potion and a water candle (or even bether a chaos candle, also added in the mod) to rain mobs on your screen, it really helps when farming itens from mobs
Dont use it in layer 4 abyss i just used it because i need souls edge and litterally 3 eidilon wyrm 10 collossal squid and 5 reaper chark spawned in a min
But i somehow managed to live for like a min

I also just realized that you never made the permanent mama upgrades from calamity, you need the Comet Shard, Ethereal Core, And the phantom heart, you could’ve had them all after you beat Polterghast
i love how the song is from the boss' perspective, like the Dragon is the one "singing", but the person hes singing to is his childhood companion and master Yharim, Who is the VILLIAN. The enemy who's "ascended beyond your control" is the PLAYER. The dragon is warning his master that the player will kill him if he fails. So cool!

If they update to support multiplayer, you both should definitely try Infernum mode, which is a difficulty mode mod meant to be used with Calamity. It reworks quite a few of Calamity's biomes and ALL BOSSES IN THE BASE GAME (plus the Calamity bosses)
To clarify, you should try this mod AFTER regular Calamity.
Oh, and it's the difficulty above Death mode :)
I also can recommend boss cursor, if you're having trouble keeping track of the bosses
iirc the mod already has some multi-player support and Dominic Karma (the og creator) isn't gonna work on it anymore and focus on more of his side projects instead like the Xeroc boss

exo mechs are easier to defeat if you start from skeletron prime XXXL. Also aim it, it is the easiest to defeat, then i recommend attacking the worm, then the eyes, but you’ll have to fight the eyes anyways sometimes, when worm is invincible, for example, hope this helps!
Doing an Infernum Run currently and we are having a hell of a time on Mechs as well. My tip to you for Death mode is clear an arena all the way to hell. kill the worm like you have been then when ares and the twins come out start falling diagonally then dodge swap directions when his patterns catch up with you. Also remember to stop when ares does because that means hes going to do that spin game you like so much. LOL

Best way to fight the exo mechs is to go at a constant angle down, that avoids most of the attacks so i recomend diggind a giant hole for a big arena and go down that

I love how these mods get you to just barely survive a boss, then with the resources you get from them you can craft a great thing, but you have to go back and MURDER all the bosses that you fought a while ago. Make you feel strong.

If you cant find or cant get to hearts you can drink a ceaseless hunger potion and itll suck up all the hearts in the world. You can make them with the thing ceaseless void drops

I did this in expert mode, and death-mode and the exo mechs is easy when you get the hand of the attacks so keep at it and the hardest part for me was yarhon because even after supreme calamitous I still have troubles with it and great vid I hope your mental state is ok😂

Sipho, while you fighting exo mechs, you dont want to stop, because they swarm you with projectiles. Just run in 1 direction and try to avoid lasers - they show projectile trajectory
One shudders to imagine what sipho and McRae's reaction to infenum
The Auric Tesla Armor you guys crafted has all of the bonuses of the armors you used to craft it, one of which is the increased heart pickup range, so now either you guys stop using that strat, or you spawn God Slime mid fight, or you dodge the hearts by fighting very far from them
Something that might help is to just run. Most of the attacks are based on where you are when shot, but if you run you won’t get hit as much.
I just remember the good old days when malice mode existed (it’s very very hard very very unforgiving almost impossible difficulty) while I may not get something as hard there is infernum which you guys should do :)

you can buy the tp staff from the marchant (super rare item in normal terraria) and upgrade it set a key and use it to dodge attack
Dont forget to use set bonus they can be linked on a button from settings

or infernum mode but thats a big iffy in multiplayer
When Thanatos locks on to you make sure to get closer to it as It can’t turn fast enough when firing the laser
