    .
1.) "Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
According to this verse many churches do say, this prophecy is about the SDA because they do teach people to abstain from meat that God has blessed.
Please how do you defend this?"
    .
    .
2.) "Dear Sir, I am confused when I listened to one black preacher from state regarding the Sabbath day of worship. His name is (BLANK) from the first church of Christ in which he was trying to explain that there is two Sabbaths. One is the OT Sabbath and the other is NT. Sabbath. The old Testament Sabbath leads to Canaan and the New Testament Sabbath leads to New Jerusalem and he goes on to say that he keep the Sabbath every day and he really discredited Seventh Day Adventist for keeping only one Sabbath which he said Sabbath at Moses times in the old Testament time and is finished. Can you explain what he is trying to preach here?
    Thank you very much."

“For by Grace you HAVE BEEN SAVED through faith and that not of yourselves it is a GIFT OF GOD.”

The text in 1 timothy 4 ;3 is talking about the Gnostics a religion opposed to Christianity with extensive writings in the first centuries . The Gnostics didn't eat meat and preferred to eat a vegan diet because they believed plants were on a higher level of spirituality. Gnostics believed the material world was the creation of a lesser God .
The early Christians used the tradition and scriptures of the churches to show the teachings had come from the Apostles.
This verse is talking about eating meat v only vegetables because we know the beliefs of the Gnostic religion

I am confused. As far as I can gather after the flood the Bible states we can eat certain meats. The Bible hasn’t changed only through “visions” from a human. We are told that the Catholic church has changed laws due to man’s traditions which is a blasphemy. If Ellen White didn’t like eating meat it was very easy for her to incorporate this in or decipher this from a vision. Only God and herself can truly know at this point whether her visions were authentic.
The point about clean meat. Meat from a grocery store is very different from naturally raised, non-medicated meat. That meat is as clean as possible.
Vegetables, fruits etc today are genetically modified in labs and are drenched in toxic fertilisers, pesticides and now preservative coatings like Apeel so they are no longer clean. Growing your own or choosing completely Organic makes them as clean as possible.
Our seas are a dumping ground for sewage, toxic waste etc so the fish etc are no longer clean. Catching fish in clean lakes etc makes them as clean as possible.
If we take into account how polluted the Earth is now we wouldn’t be able to eat or drink anything because it all has a level of toxins in because not only the chemicals etc put in the foods but also sprayed on land, water and in the air.
I find it disturbing that if any human changes the Word of the Bible it's seen as blasphemy but it's ok when it is Ellen White. Is that not hypocrisy?
What exactly does the culmination of scripture say about eating meat without Ellen White's input?

I'm very surprised that we are still looking at the Sabbath as a physical event rather than a spiritual one.
In the spiritual aspects, God is clearly telling His people that they could sin six days, your works ( galatians 5) tells us what are our works. But He is saying on the 7th day, put away sin, which is our work and be holy on the 7th day. Christ came to teach us how to keep the Sabbath every day, which is to be holy everyday.

    • @Joanne_uk
      @Joanne_uk Год назад

I have read several of your comments and they are straight out of the Antichrists Catholic handbook. The bible clearly sets out laws to which we must live everyday. Sabbath is about not working and spending the day being close to God through prayer and worship and to show our gratitude and awe for the beautiful creations of God.
The catholic church tells you it's ok to sin as long as you ask a priest for forgiveness every Sunday. That's not what the Bible says.
If we live everyday by Gods laws and celebrate Sabbath we will be given full grace, no weeping, no crying out for forgiveness.

I see no blessing in living a long life without knowing Truth. That's no blessing, that's a curse. Also, the important thing is health, not living a long life. You could live a long life but with multiple problems. But greater than having health is knowing and living the Truth.
By the way, Satan has lived a long life since he sinned. I don't think he has had a "wonderful" life all these approximately 6,000 years, and certainly he hasn't made other people grateful for being alive.

It's interesting that they acknowledged what the Holy Spirit testified to Paul about marriage in the first half of 1 Tim 4:1-5, yet rejected the rest . If we have to keep "the law" of Lev 11, we are bound to keep the whole of the law per the Bible, and Christ profits us nothing. Only Israel were ever subjected to ALL of the laws of Moses including the Ten Commandments as the scriptures state and no other nations/people were ever subjected to these laws except as they chose to become proselytes (Acts 2: 11; Romans 2:14-15; Deu 4:11-13 & 5:2-3, 22; Psalm 147:19-20). Pertaining to the diet, Jesus taught that all food were clean and okay to eat Mark 7:14-20. There were things in the law of Moses that the Jews could not eat yet a foreigner could Deuteronomy 14:21. See also Romans 14:1-2,20-21 Hebrews 7:4,7,11-12
Morality literally came from one command given to Adam and Eve and from them partaking of the tree which literally gave them knowledge of good and evil as God said. Just like the tree of life would have literally given them eternal life because God gave it the ability to do so. Gen 3:22

"Only Israel were ever subjected to ALL of the laws of Moses"
Firstly, the laws of Moses and the Ten Commandments are two different things. God dictated the former to Moses and Moses wrote them in a book. The latter were spoken by God and written with His own finger on the stone tablets twice.
Secondly, and this is a point that many miss, the Hebrews never voiced an agreement to keep the Ten Commandments when God spoke them neither was a covenant with blood made to bind the Hebrews to them. The stone tables were put into the Ark without a covenant ceremony involving animals' blood, unlike the book of the law. This is why God included the Ten Commandments when He dictated the ordinances to Moses because the Hebrews were not to think they had no obligation to keep the TC for not having made a blood agreement.
Jesus taught the TC are summarized in two Commands - love for God and love for our fellow man. I think it is reasonable to believe these two laws have always existed in Heaven because they represent God's character but Jesus "customized" them to address the fallen nature of us earthlings after our first parents sinned and started having descendants. After Jesus returns and changes our nature, there will no longer be any need for the breakdown of the two laws.
How is it that you have found scripture to support YOUR view when there are many scripture verses in the New Testament that state plainly we are obligated to keep the Ten Commandments (such as Revelation 22:14 for example)?

@@user-hf1ys4rr5h Hey! I will quote you and then show you what the Bible says…

“Firstly, the laws of Moses and the Ten Commandments are two different things. God dictated the former to Moses and Moses wrote them in a book. The latter were spoken by God and written with His own finger on the stone tablets twice."
If you're SDA like me, I can understand why you may believe that law refers to the Ten Commandments in the NT and that it’s separate from the law of Moses and only the specifics of one of these are done away with, yet the Jews didn't separate the law and its commandments. In the NT, law (nomos) can refer to the first five books of the Bible or to the entire Old Testament or to a specific book like the book of Deuteronomy or the book Isaiah (Luke 24:44; John 7:19; John 15:25; Acts 13:39; Rom 7:1-8; 1 Cor 14:21).
      Here’s an example using a portion of Rom 7:1-8 & 1 Cor 14:21:
      Romans 7:1,7-8 KJV
Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? [7] What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. [8] But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
      1 Corinthians 14:21 KJV
In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.
Notice that Paul said that it was Torah, or the law, that taught him sin, and he quoted the law of marriage found in Deu 24 and one of the TC. In 1 Cor 14:21, he quotes Isa 28:11-12, these examples show that when law is mentioned in the NT it is not referring to the TC only. As pertaining to the law of Moses, when commandment is used it is directly referring to that particular commandment found in it making the two ONE and not separate as you put it. The TC just like Lev 11 makes up portions of "the law". If you attempt to keep one, you are bound to keep all. If you're a man, you must first be circumcised in order to keep any portion of the law (Galatians 3:10-14).
“Secondly, and this is a point that many miss, the Hebrews never voiced an agreement to keep the Ten Commandments when God spoke them neither was a covenant with blood made to bind the Hebrews to them. The stone tables were put into the Ark without a covenant ceremony involving animals' blood, unlike the book of the law. This is why God included the Ten Commandments when He dictated the ordinances to Moses because the Hebrews were not to think they had no obligation to keep the TC for not having made a blood agreement.”
The same men and women of the covenant repeated in the valley of Moab (Deu 29) were the children that heard and were under the same covenant with their parents at Sinai/Horeb some 40 years prior (see also Exo 20 and 21 onward). Moses plainly explains what the covenant was which was the whole book of Deu especially the TC:
      Deuteronomy 4:11-13 KJV
And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness. [12] And the Lord spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice. [13] And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.
      Deuteronomy 5:2-3, 22 KJV
[2]The Lord our God made a covenant with us in Horeb [Sinai]. [3]The Lord made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day. [22] These words the Lord spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.
      Deuteronomy 29:1,9,12-15,29 KJV
These are the words of the covenant, which the Lord commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb. [9] Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do. [12] That thou shouldest enter into covenant with the Lord thy God, and into his oath, which the Lord thy God maketh with thee this day: [13] That he may establish thee to day for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. [14] Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath; [15] But with him that standeth here with us this day before the Lord our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day: [29] The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
Note: Abraham’s covenant was based off of promise, so was the covenant given to Noah and the whole world that there will never again be a worldwide flood. Christ’s covenant is based off of promise.
Anyway, between verses 3 and 22 we find the agreement of the covenant between God and Israel that they would keep The Ten Commandments!
If God commanded anyone prior, say Abraham (Gen 26:5), to keep these commandments then Moses couldn’t have said what he said in verse 3, so this means that the commandments of Gen 26:5 were not the TC but the commandments we can read that God commanded Abraham throughout his story. The command to offer up Isaac is one as well as the command to leave his homeland and journey to Canaan. Now concerning the rest of ordinances, statutes, etc. we do have the covenant of circumcision first given to Abraham and written into the laws of Moses as the covenant stated about his descendants.

Amen to your first point! Not only the TC but all commandments that have come forth from the mouth of God! The two great-royal laws couldn’t have always existed since man was made at a particular time about 6-7 thousand years ago, so there was no man to love his fellow man prior to Adam and Eve both existing. The same is true with the sabbath, it didn’t exist prior to the end of the seventh day of creation and God’s blessing of it, so man and beasts are older than the sabbath lol. I’ve searched, and I found no where in the Bible does it say that the TC are eternal. God’s righteousness, yes!
According to Heb 7:12, there was actually a change in the law out of necessity due to a change in the priesthood from the order of Aaron/Levitical to that of Christ whose priesthood is after the likeness of Melchisedec. As you’ve hinted at, Jesus gave two commandments for all to keep: love God (Deu 6:5) and love your fellow man (Lev 19:18). All that he said in the sermon on the mount and everywhere else are summed up in these two commandments (Matt 22:40 & Rom 13:9).

Will you provide me with these scriptures please? I see none! I actually see the NT preaching against us trying to keep the law (again, TC not separate from Torah). Rev 22:14; 12:17 are the same commandments as Jesus gave to the Jews in Matt 22:40 and as Paul taught to all in Rom 13:8-10; 10:4: to genuinely love! It doesn’t seem to be understood that the TC were the First Covenant that a man would be justified by his works in keeping the TC as well as all of Torah under that covenant. This was done away with as scripture foretold in the OT and states in the NT:

      2 Corinthians 3:3,6-7,9,11,13-14 KJV
Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. [6] Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. [7] But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: [9] For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. [11] For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. [13] And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: [14] But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
The glory of trying to keep the law was too much for them as Peter explained in Acts 15, and Paul constantly persuaded the Gentiles not to leave the simplicity and liberty that they had in Jesus to be under any laws.
Notice what article Paul referred directly to in these verses? The Ten Commandments and not “ceremonial laws”: whatever that term means because it’s not in the Bible. They’re called feast days and holy convocations (holy gatherings) in the Bible which were apart of the book of the law and were themselves done away with.
      Isaiah 1:13-14 KJV
Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with [I cannot endure with]; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. [14] Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
Who gave them these things? God! Who alone can remove these things from them? God!
      Nehemiah 9:13-14 KJV
[13] Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments: [14] And madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant
      Hosea 2:11 KJV
I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.
      Ephesians 2:11-13 KJV
Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; [12] That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: [13] But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
