I am making a comment before the end of presentation. I am 77.25.
    I have something called NF1.
I felt and still feel like a freak.Birth marks and lots of lumps that still repulse me.
My own father was repulsed by me.
I turned to alcohol for years....35 years sober. I must not forget God The Father delights in me. The Trinity is there for me.

This was just exactly - exactly what I needed to hear... Menopause has not been kind to me and I pretty much don't recognize myself anymore. This was wonderful. Thank you!

Thank you so much!! You all have been ministering to me so much over these episodes about identity. I have ALOT of deep wounds. And it can feel overwhelming on where ro even start. I have been in counseling for over 10 years and I feel as though I've made progress but sometimes I still feel I have so much to go and have barely scratched the surface. I also feel like finding a Christian counselor has been difficult. I haven't been able to find what I really need in a therapist. I know ultimately Jesus is the greatest counselor. But I think we can benefit a lot from good therapists. Any recommendations on how to find a good Christian counselor? And what is your top resource of a book to read to help with this process of healing. Thank you again!
