Another point is that when people are depressed, a video like this gets through. Too often intellectual people use a ton of words, PowerPoint, and a dry delivery. You are an blessed person with both intellectual abilities and passion, coherence, lucidity, concise, personable, inspiring, artistic, professional. Way to go! Anyone reading this comment, CBT is really worth looking into.

The video's nice because it's straight to the point and clear. More videos to come and thank you so much for this. It's a big help.

Great information! Additionally, with more workplaces trying to foster and build DEI, it's vital to identify cognitive distortions. This will help businesses, groups and teams avoid falling into the abyss of "Group Think" which hinders creativity, awareness and the candid sharing of ideas. ☺

Recently, a scientist made a video clarifying that no one is a complete success of failure (#1 All-or-nothing thinking). She was her own example. She is considered a failure by more conventional scholarly scientists, but the public and rising scientists consider her a success because she explains principles on TV and raises funds for research with those appearances.

Interesting, I agree that no one is a complete success or failure. A deep dive helps one discover that words are simply labels or descriptors that our brains use to compartmentalize or categorize.
