The teaching segment where James's mock draft gets graded, with the two guys heads inside the circles at the bottom of the screen, feels like a game show, and I'm here for it 😂 Love it. Have fun guys!
So sick of mock drafts, let’s just wait and see what happens.
Always gotta take best available but we NEED two OL in the first three rounds. Giving Burrow more time to throw improves our team more than anything else by far! Who can guard Chase and Tee if they have a few more seconds to get open?? Not mention, protecting Burrow is paramount for obvious reasons. Sure I’d love to get a DT, CB, etc but we’ve yet to see what Joey B can really do. Plus by actuating our offensive potential, the D’s gonna have a much easier time defending the lead with improved field position. Win win win win.
Your comment is good but easier said than done. Bengals could really use some talent insertion on the OL. What I really like about talented OL guys is that it is a very high injury prone position. But taking guys like Carmen continues to be a waste of time and windows of opportunity. This Trent what's his name is only signed for one year also. Two OL might not be enough to draft. Plus, have to quit investing in players you know will never have a chance to start. "So and so" gets resigned to provide depth for a lousy offensive line. What good does that do? Plus, rookies can't develop with lousy starters or perhaps coaches also. I am kind of anxious to see how former Bengal Thomas (OL) does in Arizona. I am not sure he or Mixon now in Houston were ever as good as advertised.
@@bigj6143 the bengals have certainly shit the bed drafting OL in the past decade. We’d be fools to think that’s not a factor. Personally I’ve been screaming to trade Mixon after 2021 and absolutely hate that we franchise tag players, only to let them walk without compensation. Trading them for proven OL or draft picks is the best path forward. That being said, we still have to draft OL. According to the ‘experts’ this is one of the best OL classes in a long time. If that’s true, I’m for trading 2025 pick(s) to get an additional selection if the draft shakes out the right way. What’s the point of having Tee for one more year if we don’t swing for the fences.
I want to see Joe burrow under center with a half back and a full back in line.. play action would be crazy..
I ve done a large amount of simulated mock drafts. Brock bowers hasnt fallin once. Hes actually gone the other way.i would love him too.
1 - OT
2 - DT
3 - IDK
Would like murphy and roman wilson, also seems realistic
I would hope and expect The Cincinnati BENGALS FO to stick with:
BPA in Rounds 1 thru 3, and Need-based BPA in Rounds 4 thru 7. I have trust that the coaches will will make it work. A lot was learned over the last drafts, and to assume that those lessons will be ignored doesn't sit well with me. WHO DEY ALL DEY ANYWAY ❗
C+
Time for a Bengals talk and Skyline live show...
James, not a fan of constructive criticism 😂 Take the B-
A grade was given. A lesson was (likely) not learned. -Andrew
Bengals don’t move forward in the draft often, I’d be shocked..
Best OL man taken in the 3rd round or lower in the last 5 years?
I wish they would bring Tyler B back
No thanks! Dropping game winners, dropping wide open td against Kc, his course his course has ran
Heck no. Boyd dropped too many passes
Bye Felicia! Lol
Boyd fell off
They are going to have disgruntled Chase and Higgins shortly. Boyd is okay but can be replaced.
Is it possible TB stays??
Dallas turner Nate Wiggins joe alt newton sweat Mims hallJR Wilson
I don't like scary picks. Mims one hit wonder ? Makes me think of a fast WR named Ross.
What if they missed twice in a row on the defensive end in the first round? I really hope they do not do that.
What are you talking about?Myles Murphy is still developing! We will find out this year if he makes the jump.Remember he just turned 22 years old.
@@drs2328myles murphy was a terrible pick and he’s gonna be a mediocre player we could’ve drafted joey porter JR but no we decided to go the crap route
Damn he better avoid Skyline chili!!
Skyline is disgusting...Go Bengals!
Broncos fan here...if you want Brock Bowers, send us your #18 & #49 picks for #12 if he's still there.
bengals most likely won't trade up to get brock bowers. first of all, the bengals don't desperately need him, it's just a generational talented prospect that the bengals wouldn't pass up on if he is there. second of all, there is a good chance bowers gets picked by the jets. third of all, your broncos heavily need a quarterback so I doubt that the broncos would take bowers. third of all, the bengals aren't trading a their 2nd round pick just to go up 6 spots in the first round of the draft, especially with this potentially loaded draft class.
@@TripleG12398 Everyone thinks Denver needs a QB, but in point of fact, Sean Payton has stated more than once that he thinks Jarrett Stidham is a potential starter. I strongly suspect he will not draft a first round QB, & in point of fact, Payton has also said that maybe only 2 of the 6 hotshot rookies expected to go in the first round will make it in the NFL. He's more likely to draft a linemen or Bowers if he's there than any QB still on the board at #12.
As for the compensation I listed, I used the Jimmy Johnson draft chart, & that is a pretty close approximation of what it takes to move from 18 to 12.
@@user-zr4km5ns8t jarrett stidham is the broncos starting qb for this season? man, I can't wait for my bengals to play the broncos lmfao.😂😂😂😂😂
@@TripleG12398 I'm pretty sure you don't know anything about Stidham. Last time Sean Payton made a special point of signing a vet that people thought was going nowhere & turned his nose up at a couple hotshot rookie QBs he could have had instad he coached him into the NFL Hall of Fame. If he thinks Stidham is starter material, you can be sure he knows what he' talking about.
@@user-zr4km5ns8t until further notice, I wouldn't trust it but if that what payton feels like is going to work, then have fun with that.
How about last years first round pick
I hope they get an explosive weapon at number 18 fr.. and then double dip o line
I like Troy Franklin for sure
Protecting Burrow with elite OL is explosive. how many more season enders until ya realize.
I like o line and 18 then double dip on the weapon type player
@@HermsWorldWide that is true, imagine if Joe Burrow had three seconds.. it doesn’t matter who the receivers are at that point
@@HermsWorldWide 100% Heck, I wouldn't have a problem with picking 5 O linemen and 5 D linemen, and actually coach our last years receivers to be better. Give Joe 3+ seconds, and he will make anyone look elite.
Franklin no ty, gets bumped off routes and isn't physical at this size
Please get sweat forget the dui all we need is a good nose tackle and we should win it all
In the 4th sure.
💯fr bro. they need to get him in 2nd or 3rd round
Theres tons of examples of Bengals taking wrong players instead of. The WORST of these boners happened recently. Bengals taking Jackson Carmen and Diante Smith instead of KC taking Creed Humphrey and Trey Smith. Both of theirs are STUDS both of ours are DUDS. Imagine swapping those guys at this point. We'd have all the rings and theyd be crying . We dont even discuss need to discuss John Ross right ahead of Pat Mahomes. The entire historical narrative would been reversed for both organizations
How about doing a segment, "What the Bengals should have done". For example, they should have taken Dalton Kincaid over Myles Murphey in the 1st round last year based upon the impact these players had last year. People would have thought that was terrible pick at the time, but it would have been so much better than what they actual did.
Kincaid was already drafted hahaha come on man
Hind site 20/20, but drafting Murphy after having drafted Ossai and Sample (edge rushers) in previous drafts with still crummy results you also wonder why this organization thinks it has forever to get it right. I say this, if Bill Belichick had a talent like Joe Burrow to work with in New England, he would still be coaching there, and KC would not have won the last two Super Bowls. Belichick knows how to put a team around stars. Cincinnati does not. Bengals more times than not end up with athletes with zero brain function.
I love rapien but that is a terrible mock lol😊
I’m not gonna lie. I have a gut feeling Bowers is overhyped.
Guess you never watched him play
He's really not thou. He's a very unique player. Very strong, very good character. And he may fall to bengals due to his size and position. But he is ridiculous as a player.
it's obvious you didn't watch him play. if you watched him play at georgia, you would know that he can be an All-Pro tight end in this league. he even won 2 national championships so he also has postseason experience.
Bowers won't be there. More realistic for Mims or a DT.
James needs help
Ah yes, more draft talk. I would like to say this, you draft to develop starters, NOT depth. Sure, they all can't start and some never will but you give them a fair chance and move on from them and guys like Drew Sample. Seems like everyone they drafted last April 2023 beyond Round 3, is a complete non-factor. Just waiting to get cut when this years crop rolls in. Bengals could trade down and really not lose much. They aren't going to gain much, based on their draft position, their reputation is not in their favor. Translation, I don't think they are smart enough. Sad, Burrow is talented, but if you keep drafting jokes you are not getting anywhere fast. No Super Bowls.
