Speaking off subject you have two conferences with four divisions. There are four teams in each division which play each other twice a season. Home and home. Doesn’t it make more since to spread those games out over the season? Like pick any division you want to make the point. Why can’t a team play their division rivals once in the first eight to nine games. Then play them again in the last eight to nine games. For example the Bengals play Pittsburgh in the opener or the second week. Then Baltimore in weeks four or five. The Browns in weeks eight or nine the Ravens again in weeks eleven or twelve back to Cleveland in weeks thirteen or fourteen and the Steelers in one of the last three weeks? The games are spread out beginning divisional play anywhere in the first two weeks and concluding somewhere in the last two weeks. You would also space apart the last common opponent by at least four weeks. Let say the battle for Ohio was in week eight for the first meeting then the last meeting between them in week twelve. With Pittsburgh and Baltimore both playing the Bengals before and after the Browns.
Warren Sharp did an analysis of the schedule and which teams get the most and least reat, he concluded that the Bengals were treated the worst by the schedule makers and the 49ers were 2nd worst. Apparently we're at a rest disadvantage in multiple games and on the road, we also have 3 games in 10 days and 2 are against the division on the road
Let’s just make sure we beat the teams we’re supposed to, 1st The Patriots, The Patriots aren’t to be overlooked. I think Burrow should play some in the preseason as well. If Mahommes can play in the preseason it’s No excuse for anyone else.
I agree ! He needs to take snaps and get his / the offense feet wet we cannot start slow again this year A good start is a must to set the tone for what’s to come ! Who Dey!
I think the Bengals did a great job this year with the players drafted and signed. As far as finding good players to play for you, nobody does it better than Andy Ried. He finds players that no one has ever heard of before, no name guys and turns them into great players for him. That's part of the reason the Chiefs are always so good. There's no film or anything to go on to prepare for some of these guys. They make a huge play and you're like who the hell is that guy and where did he come from.
People want to go on about playing against playoff teams. Recently, every team in the AFC North has had to play 2-3 playoff teams twice a year. Last year, the Bengals were 9-2 against the rest of the NFL.
The NFL did the Steelers a huge favor giving them all 6 of their AFCN games over the last 8 weeks. Aside from their QB questions, the one unit that will take the longest to be cohesive is their remade OL, with possibly 2 to 3 new rookie starters on it plus a 2nd year OT. It would have been much better to play the Steelers twice early rather than twice late. By the last 8 games, their OL should be much better than it will be the first 9 games, & that will give the Steelers a better shot to win more division games than they would have had over the first 9 weeks while their new OL tries to figure it out.
They have 2 games within 4 days. They have 2 games within 6 days at another point. Which 3 games are within a 10 day period?? Am I missing something? CHEERS to staying HEALTHY!!!
Sometimes even people with character can act like knuckleheads and make mistakes. No excuse for his behavior but if he genuinely wishes to improve and but that mistake behind him and own up, I think he deserves that chance.
Nahh the Bengals are going to be 4-0 going into the Ravens game In week 5. I think after 5 games the Bengals are going to be 5-0. We aren’t scared of the Chiefs and the Ravens are coming to Cincinnati. We are going to start demolishing motherfuckers next year. In picking the Bengals to go 15-2 OR 14-3. I think they split with the Browns sweep the Ravens and Steelers. And I think they might lose that Monday night game in Dallas. If it was in Cincinnati I would pick the Bengals in that one. So I have the Browns beating us once and the Cowboys and the only other game I can see us losing is the Eagles. I think 14-3 will be enough for the 1 seed 15-2 will absolutely be enough to get the 1 seed. I think after game 17 games Burrow will have well over 5000 passing yards and 45 tds with 10 or less interceptions. Probably 9. I think Joe wins his first league MVP and Super Bowl MVP. Yep I’m picking the Bengals to go all the way. I think it’s going to be a historic dominant year. I think Jamar Chase will be in the running for Offensive player of the year because I think he has over 1500 yards and very close to 20 tds. Like 18 or 19. Tee Higgins will have himself a career year with 1200 yards and 11 TDs. Germaine Burton is also going to break 1000 yards this year. Yep the first time 3 WRs go over 1000 since Peyton Manning did it with the Colts. I think Charlie Jones is going to be a dynamite return specialist and I think Iosivas will come into his own this year and have close to 500 yards and 4 tds once again. Grisiki is going to have a year similar to the one he had in Miami in 2020 and 2021 with around 700 yards and 5-6 TDs. Trenton Irwin is going to be as reliable as ever. Around 300 yards and a 2 or 3 TDs. Chase Brown is going to have at least 20 catches and will rush for over 500 yards and have around 300 receiving yards Zach Moss is going to rush for over 1000. Tanner Hudson is going to contribute this year again. 300 yards and a couple of TDs. Man this roster is stacked with good players.
I noticed you like to come on to every Bengals report and just be a troll I've seen your comments on multiple channels, glad you're giving it so much attention 😊
9/10 times i think the Bengals would be making the right decision treating the situation with Tee like they have thus far, this is that one time I think they are making a mistake. Id lock Tee up aswell whatever they have to do to make it happen. Chase, Higgins, Burton and a good TE is an absolute nightmare that would create massive mismatchs ALL. THE. TIME.
The Bengals are the biggest threat in the AFC,and I'm telling u from now, their not even going to make it out of their division,so the never win anything loser Bengals who haven't won anything in more than half a century, plus their haven't won anything average joe QB who is just another Kirk cousin just different team, Jared Goff is better than average joe,Goff stats are better across the board and a conference final, and the Bengal is supposed to the biggest threat 🤡🤡.

Bro if Joe can stay healthy the whole season. WoW!

Great interview - Awesome takes, keep up the great work Dave love the channel bro!!
Great guest ... Chris Simms!
Great interview
so psyched for this season much more than last year
Got the bengals 12-5 this year.

Chris- “BANGLES”
His trademark 😂
Dave - “No doubt about it”
What position will Susanna Hoffs play?
I’ve said Bangles my entire life and I’m from Cincy lol
You mean Bengals, that's the right pronunciation just saying, and everyone in the city says Bengals what you're saying sounds like a steelers fan
The Bengals finally didn't screwed by their schedule.
Them Thursday games are still pretty harsh
@@malachiboward408 I'm out of market. I can watch them and no just listen to them. They will start 4 an 0. This is their year.
Chris is the best commentator in the NFL imo
Let's go JB! Can't wait 🐯
Newton and Burton are both sleeper picks!
Let's go go Joe
What about the 7th rounder grom miami? Excellent tape
Love listening to Chris and his knowledge .!
A team staying healthy is key to everything. And the one thing there is little control of.
Chris Simms has always been a fair analysis of teams!

He’s smart. The Chiefs are old news. The Bengals are the new BEST team.

Wild take but I respect it
Yessss the bungles Cris Simms
I can't deal when dudes or anyone pronounces Bengals as bangles.... Maybe it's just me..... 🐯🐯🐯💪🐅🐅🐅🐅
"Mr. Brown has a good eye"... there goes credibility... Duke Tobin has the eye, Katie has the vision, Mike contributes money and morale these days 😆
Why aren't any of you guys bringing up the fact we have 3 games in 10 damn days on our schedule instead of saying it's so easy?
They have 2 games within 4 days. They have 2 games within 6 days at another point. Which 3 games are within a 10 day period?? Am I missing something?
CHEERS to staying HEALTHY!!!
GOT IT
My concern with Burton is his maturity. He's a play maker. But can he not harm the team with penalties.
Sometimes even people with character can act like knuckleheads and make mistakes. No excuse for his behavior but if he genuinely wishes to improve and but that mistake behind him and own up, I think he deserves that chance.
Maybe a future All pro!
I though the Bangles was a girl-band....? 🤭 WHO DEY!🐅
i AGREE FOOTBALL IS A CHEES MATCH BUT EVERY SPORT IS IN WAY EXCEPT GOLF AND TENNIS WHICH YOU KNOW THE FAILURE IS ON YOU

God hear you
its not analysis, its homerism
Just wish he pronounced 'Bengals' correctly.
They can’t keep tee . Get tf over it.! If you want chase😂
They need a few more pieces to be a Superbowl team I think but we will see if they can win inside the division this year at all
Ya but Taylor is still our HC sooooo…
Ik. Burrow is better . He is about end the the Patric run😂😂😂
Fur ball from the shack up N was a cheater! Go
Bucks!
Bengals three games in 10 days not good.
Sucks another great talent wasted on a bad team. They do nothing to get better
Joe burrow, tua , josh Allen, Lamar jackson are all great QBs but they are not mahomes. Chiefs kingdom baby
If Mahomes had any other head coach he would be just a top 10 QB Burrow and Allen would do great on any team with any head coach
Member u heard it fr me the never win anything loser Bengals, are not making it out of their division.
Biggest flop in the AFC
Didn't realize this was about the Jets
A average guy who is a mere 29-22 career. And a pitiful 1-4 vs Lamar is no threat to any AFC team. In particular the Ravens.
Yet I would never watch an interview about the ravens let alone comment on the video. So get a life maybe?
Bengals living rent free in Ratbirds heads 😂
@@Chaseace2 nah,
Just enjoy making fun of a low tier Organization that can't and won't ever win a Super Bowl.
