Regarding the Rotpriest math: It got quite a bit better with March of the Machine since Invasion of Ikoria essentially added another 4 Rotpriests and Ivys.
This might be the most coherent meme or dream deck ever. I think the sunfall actually kind of works here. Even without the Nahiris Resolve to reset it the for mirroring, you still get 1 large creature that holds holds the trample and double strike well.

@@MTGGoldfishWell one version was very similar to this one but I had etali. Speakeasy server ended up being a massive mvp, which suprised me because I just tossed it in to fill space. I did want to use devilish Valet but with the arena economy being bad I had no wild cards. The only 'meme' part of this deck was the mana base IMO and that I'll excuse saying it's fairly budget. The main deck's game plan was solid and the sideboard covers what I think the main issues would be well.
37:55 is a slightly early scoop. I know you get a lot of flack over those, but Sheoldred is going to lose you your blocker, and then you're going to get hit for 7. The graveyard glutton will hit you for two(?) putting you to one. If you draw a Sunfall, you get to sweep their board and have enough mana left over to even flip your incubate token. At that point, you'd be solidly ahead on board and going into topdeck wars.
12:30 seth could have won there by playing the nahiris resolve and giving the team +1/+0, it also gives haste so assuming he survived until the next turn, if he blinked all of that mirrodin equipment the new tokens he gets next turn would all be able to turn sideways right away
I've been liking Nahiri's Resolve more and more. I run it in Nahiri EDH, and there are some busted synergies with it and stuff like Hammer of Nazhan and Sigarda's Aid, along with all the For Mirroden and Living Equipment cards. Sigarda's Aid is particularly funny with Nahiri herself, since not only do you get free equipment, you can play it at instant speed, too.
I've been playing Mirrodin equipment with Nahiri, and I kept thinking because no decklists online have Nahiri that I was doing something wrong, but this makes me feel better
rotpriest is scary every single time. Once you get one poison counter the proliferate deck just goes over the top and never has to attack again. And even then it still has a 4/4 trample for 3 and the rotpriest. I don't hate it but it makes me feel like there should be some way to interact with poison that isn't as bad as melira but isn't as good as melira.
As someone who used to have a casual RW Living Weapon deck... I'm not surprised. Equipment that's also creatures + payoffs is a surprisingly strong core for a deck, especially since most decks aren't really set up to mass-answer artifacts.
This reminds me of one of the brews I made for RW pauper equipment (used boros synth as a base) and why ancestral blade was strong in it. The ability to dump mana into just anything and make it a threat when you are able to keep one creature on the field is very relevant. The individual equipment aren't good but the fact it costs mana and gives things to do almost lends it some natural midrange. Of course here the boardwipes are much better but here you have more token making equipment that are just good and nahiris resolve to blink them And nahiri.
Working on a deck revolving around the amass orcs in blue black with Duplimancy and copying the orc trebuchet to have a swarm of flying boulders to pummel the oppenent.
I downloaded arena for the first time since eldraine and used all my stockpiled rare and mythic wildcards for this deck. It paid of massively as I have so far gotten from unranked/bronze 4 all the way up to plat 4 in the span of about 2-3 days playing for a couple of hours each night. Love it 10/10 would recommend
This equipment deck is extremely close to the equipment challenge deck from Wednesday's event on Arena. It used a couple of historic cards instead of Nahiri's resolve and sunfall, but otherwise it's basically a carbon copy,.
Nahiri's historic deck is FUCKING NASTY. Looking forward to this as some meta deck tech because everything is so stale right now. Can't wait to try this when I get home today.
I think instead of the taplands you should run the Mirrex, that way you get better(temporary) fixing, but you also get the repeatable token creation for situations where you're top decking with a bunch of equipment on board
I like this deck with 2 urbrasks forge . Still working on it. I love it . Main rule . If you don't have two different color mana mulligan most of the time.
I played against this deck today. Surprisingly effective. Also the sunfall idea works well when you have an atraxa or something else massive in front of you, then just remove everything to make a 7/7 or 8/8
I just finished a commander deck that is basically this. With all of the for mirrodin, living weapon and equipment creatures as my creature base 30+ equipments that can be cast for free with Nahiri's ability.a
im still getting back into magic and standard all together let alone the new rotation rules. Is the LOTR part of the rotation or are the cards not good enough to put in this deck
Was looking for a deck besides that mono green you showed off to run (aside from my own jank for dailies) and I think this meme looks fun enough to give a try
that was a pretty rough misplay vs the blue/black deck. you could've played the rabbit which would've reduced the cost so you could still play nahiri, then you'd have had the rabbit to sac to the edict.
i still have to craft nahri resolve after i get materials. its going off without it at times but at times im struggling for lands and pain land is a bit much in the practice games. but most games is over before nahris resolve even makes it out. i added Kemba, Kha Enduring to snatch up bladehold war-whip when not equipped with starting creature till i can craft nahri

So, I emplore y’all to this deck for yourself! This deck feels like it has legs, all the first strike / double strike plus damage spells helped me take down a 5 color deck. First game they played 2 etalis and hit an attraxa off one, managed to avoid them gaining any life with first strike. 2nd game they farewelled but everything was in exile, I got lucky and top decked a rabbit battery to haste up a creature for the win.
I would love to see a Balrog deck next. The Durin's Bane one looks sick. You could probably pair it with Torgaar, Famine Incarnate for more consistency. It feels like my own pet deck (mono green aggro in Pioneer - playing a turn two Steel Leaf Champion is just fun!) and that's a good thing to see.
