The S25 Ultra looks promising, though hardware changes will be minimal, like most brands now. With the new X Elite chipset, it’s faster and offers impressive battery life optimization, but everyday performance differences are barely noticeable using an S24 Ultra compared to the recent OnePlus 13 packing the newest chip. I’m curious if Samsung’s tweaks will improve speed over the S24 Ultra, though I’m not expecting much as noted for hardware changes. It’s getting increasingly difficult to stay excited about these launches each year, as we’re left searching for even the smallest improvements. Hopefully, 2025 brings some fresh form factors or updated foldable designs. I’d love to see a new Surface Duo or something innovative to keep the market exciting 😆
Man, to be honest I gave up on Samsung around the fold 2 and s20 days. Their UI doesn't do it for me (just personal feeling about how it looks and functions) and the phones seem like they got into a set place and stopped trying to go big or game changing...they found their niche and stuck with it wayyyyy too long. I guess one could say that about any phone for the past few years.
I wish there was like a surprise 65w wired charging reveal. I love Samsung phones. I love OneUI, i love the anti reflective coating, the screen itself, and design and feel, the pen when i want to use it, etc. But throw us a bone and just up wired charging a little bit. It gets harder to not consider Chinese options every year because of some of this. I have had a taste of Chinese fast charging and honestly it's so hard to go back. I am a power user, so I often have to bring a power bank with me. I don't have to do that with these Chinese phones.
i don't know why, but for some reason I figured this would be a big upgrade year just because of the number 25. 25 just seems like one of those big milestone numbers to me.
This will be the first Samsung Ultra or note that I have not purchased in many many many many many many years and the reason why is because they rounded the corners I hate the way that looks I have bought it because I like the corners being scared and if they're going to round the corner so I will stop buying them
And we all know there's going to be some stupid people asking you if they should upgrade like they don't have a mind of their own yeah go ahead upgrade and get the same phone again become as dumb as Apple people

Samsung doesn't do that lol
@shanecraigtech Yeah, silly me right?
Are you going to switching to it as your main device or is you main device still going to be pixel 9 fold
If I end up grabbing one, I would use it as my primary device for a week or two before likely going back to a fold.
YES!
I am planning on purchasing the S25 Ultra so I hope you do as well, so you have additional content on your channel.
