Lionheart wants to protect Sari, beliving in humans. Sari, seeing his generocity, and the humanity monsters have, loves Lionheart too, seeing He Really cares for her. Sari had managed to win the trust of her people, and made a Pheonix reawake to his true form. Good anime, tbh.
