Welcome to the premiere of A Marvellous Party, a transatlantic, star-studded collection of performances celebrating the continuing legacy of Noël Coward and coinciding with the 100th anniversary of his West End debut as a 19-year-old playwright.
This unique celebration features words and music by Noël Coward, performed by Kate Burton, Judi Dench, Stephen Fry, Montego Glover, Derek Jacobi, Josh James, Cush Jumbo, Robert Lindsay, Kristine Nielsen, Bebe Neuwirth, Julian Ovenden, Patricia Routledge, Kate Royal, Emma Thompson, Giles Terera, Indira Varma and Lia Williams. All the performers have either self-recorded at home or been filmed on location under COVID-19
    regulations.
The official fundraiser has now ended, but we still encourage you yo consider donating to the Foundation's chosen charities, which provide support to theatre workers on both sides of the Atlantic affected by the pandemic.

Patricia Routledge's performance at the end is a master class in joyous comic delivery. Genius!

They are all wonderful, of course. You wouldn't expect less from this lineup. Then Dame Patricia Routledge appears and blows everyone else off the screen. That's what genius performers do.

Patricia Routledge is the very definition of growing old gracefully. Thank you all for putting this together, I expect I will probably watch it about once per week henceforth!

All so good, but then on came Dame Patricia Routledge to wipe the board with so much exuberance!! What fun!

If you are even slightly tempted to pack it in -- and that's your business, though it's all quite fine -- DO NOT under any circumstances miss the brilliant performance by PATRICIA ROUTLEDGE. Five minutes of genius at work.

A brilliant jewel. I will watch it again and again. It was my good fortune to stumble upon it. I will watch again and again. Congratulations and thank you to superb performers. Thank you You Tube for making it public.

What an absolutely wonderful tribute to the musical and comic genius of Noel Coward all performed superbly by a host of amazing actors and singers. All for a very worthy cause as so much of the performing arts as been affected by the pandemic, there’s so many good pieces that it’s hard to choose the best one, Kate Royal and Julian Ovenden singing so beautifully, Robert Lindsay capturing so brilliantly the sharp wit of Coward, and finally Dame Patricia Routledge with perfect comic timing, just a few among the many other great talents.

Fabulous! I especially enjoyed Emma Thompson, Montego Glover, Alan Cummings, a male singer with a gentle voice (I forgot his name), the "mother and son" duo, and, yes, absolutely, Patricia Routledge, as C.Berg noted!

They should band together and stop this covidmania nonsense: I won't say the trouble it has caused myself l dont want pity *but they're bigger players and have more power than me and need to do something since politicians won't.*
