The single plant support wires with an open coil at the top are cheap and work great. Sturdy but bendable and the curl works great at the end of your tube. Ground the end to a sharp point to strengthen the arms on your spooky tree. The hot weather kept making them droop so I used to long supports and gently pushed them through the spray foam arms. The curl laid against the tree trunk completely hidden and added strength to the arm end. It’s been through three Halloweens now. Still looks great. Thanks so much for that video.
I absolutely love your videos!!! I love your fun playful and creative attitude. (And your a good dancer too!) I love the next level these kinds of decorations make to Halloween 🎃 I live in a tiny town where only a handful of us even decorate, and I love hearing people's comments on the new additions every year. You are such an inspiration, and show me anyone can do this, and good decore doesn't have to cost hundreds of dollars. Love you so much! Will donate when things aren't so tight. Bless you for sharing your wonderful talent!
The bit about not giving up on heat bonding. That took me so long to get right and I still have a practice each time but it is so, so much faster and I don't worry about Texas October melting glue one day and drenching it the same day. Love these and this year my basic ass witches are getting a makeover.
i love your commitment to practical multi disciplinary skills and general knowledge over material specific applications. Learning the physics and engineering of construction that you can apply to whatever you have access to.
I use metal electrical conduit instead of rebar. It's much cheaper and with the right blade on a jigsaw, you can cut it to any size or put a point on it which makes it easier to hammer into any ground.
My husband is a steamfitter and since he’s hanging pipe all day I have almost endless access to threaded rod so I use a lot of that. Probably not as sturdy as rebar for heavy things but good for lighter things.
If you really want to know my secret, it's finding raw materials from a Goodwill outlet store. You pay by the pound. I'm cheap, it's just that simple. As for what I have gathered....well: Wigs, dowel rods, clothing, your fence wire, pool noodles all sizes, yoga mats and floor pads for making foam pieces, led candles and various broken Halloween pieces that can be repurposed. Just a sample of what I find there ; )
Im enthralled by your channel lol.. You make these look sooo simple to do!! I just might have to try my hand at them also!!! Fantastic!!! Thank you thank you!!!
Just wanted to say I really enjoy watching your videos. I'm planning on combining a few of your ideas to create a spray foam pumpkin creature with a body made from pool noodles. Thanks for all the tutorials and videos. Keep up the great work!!
I’m so enjoying your videos, I want to do this too. But I’m busy building my big terrarium with fake rock background. But after that I’m going to make stuff😂
I like to use brake tubing thru the pool noodles. It is flexible like wire but holds its shape. I appreciate all your videos. wish I could attend the monster school but live to far up north in Pa. Maybe some day the wife and I can visit dark hour.
I've been wanting to build some lurkers for my yard haunt. I grabbed some masks last year that I had planned to use for it. And see this I have a much better idea on how I want to build them now. Just curious. Might heat gun has a couple settings. How hot are you running yours to weld the foam together?
Where is Stillbeast studios located??? Also where are the creations displayed? I am sure it is in previous videos or on Professor Google but i'm being lazy ...
yeah the paper would deform being outside for long periods of time, getting wet and such, and mildew and rot and such- so I like to use things that wont decompose the same way
Allen, there seems to be a few people that would like to see the pool noodle lamp post project i mentioned. I tried supplying a link but the post seems to get deleted. Perhaps external links within the Comments are not allowed and cause the comment to be deleted? I'm not sure. Let me know of there's a better way. Thanks.
@StiltbeastStudios hey Allen, just circling back on this topic. Not sure if you're able to send that link out to those who are interested. I can't seem to on my end, unfortunately. I tried to edit my original post too but it looks like RUclips didn't like that too much. That post has been deleted.
We have a secret you might like, Allen! Great foam spreader technique, keeps you from wasting foam, more control, even smooth lines. @trashy-panda-life, it's in our spider part 2/great foam video.🎉

Tubing cutters for copper pipe work well and leave a clean cut, lots of time you can get them with a debur tool
My husband is a steamfitter and since he’s hanging pipe all day I have almost endless access to threaded rod so I use a lot of that. Probably not as sturdy as rebar for heavy things but good for lighter things.
Love those dance moves 😝 my hubs and I use bailing wire with lots of our crafts, and it comes in different thicknesses. Great stuff.
everyone has their prefrences! love it.
Your figures are so fun and kind of creepy. I'm gonna have to try this!

Amazing Sir, as always!
very kind, glad you liked it!
Thanks for keeping me inspired
thanks for taking the time to watch!
Teach yourself by watching bamboo sculpting vids. You are a genius of thinking outside the box and seeing things in ways others do not.
You are too kind, its just breaking things down simply and not over thinking.
Words of wisdom... never trust a butt joint!
Never.
Or a fart
Fyi, I'm subscribed with notifications and I'm just now seeing recent videos. RUclips clearly doesn't care.
Same! I just hit the bell button hope it helps.
Fantastic job ! Love the construction, thank you for sharing your talent ❤❤
Thank you! Cheers!
Amazing! they look incredible! thank you for this awesome video!
Thank you. Ive been trying to figure out how i was going make some basic zombie body bulk forms and this is perfect. Thank you
The ONE year I didn't go to Frightmare!! Would've been great to meet you guys, hope you had a great time there.. keep making stuff!!
"Beautiful to look at." Truly in the eye of the beholder. They do look great though.
the worse they look, the dimmer the lights ought to be lol.
This year i have NOT been able to find black pool noodles.
He's got several cases of them in the shop!!
foamnoodles.com I get them year round
Try pipe coverings, from the hardware store’s plumbing section. Some are already halved!! ☺️
those are signifigantly less dense so they are better insulation- same material but they are much harder to heat bond as they dissolve so fast
If they're not gonna be showing use any pool noodles
Awesome as always...Way to go Allen and crew
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video, thanks as always for these
Bailing wire is good and flexible and often cheap.
Another great build
Glad you like it
Thanks for the great tips and direction
Our pleasure!

that sounds sweet!
Wow epic witchy good job and pool noodle witches very well done and very well put together definitely looks pretty Hallowistic like
LOL the dancing at 4:50!
I know how to party!
Beautiful creations!
Thank you! Cheers!
Have you tried electric fence wire? Works good. I have a spool of 1/2 mile. Available at farm stores. I gotta go make stuff!
I have not, Im stuck on ceiling hangar wire lol- we all have our favorites.
FANTASTIC!
I’m so enjoying your videos, I want to do this too. But I’m busy building my big terrarium with fake rock background. But after that I’m going to make stuff😂
Cool instruction. Thanks! I'll go make stuff now- me thinks.😊
GO! GET TO IT!
Does the foam pipe insulting tubes work the same way as the pool noodles? Is one better than the other?
I use clothes and stuff them with stocking
yeah, they are just harder to get to look real or natural, and to make them stand up you need a skeleton of some kind- i just find this easier.
Awesome video as always
Think I would make a PVC pipe skeleton then bulk it out with the thicker pool noodles less noodles per figure
as long as you dont use PVC connectors, then your cost would go way up! but there are endless possibilities.
I like to use brake tubing thru the pool noodles. It is flexible like wire but holds its shape. I appreciate all your videos. wish I could attend the monster school but live to far up north in Pa. Maybe some day the wife and I can visit dark hour.
fly out and see us, we just had someone book monster camp from England. either way Im glad you make stuff!

Just curious. Might heat gun has a couple settings. How hot are you running yours to weld the foam together?
I just always use mine on high, it has a low setting that might work, but I always use high- might as well get it done faster!
Ok. I was wondering because if the low setting worked, the high setting might be too much and just horribly melt stuff. Thanks for the info.
Wicked!!!.... puredee wicked!!!
Awesome noodle bodies!
Is there a video or link for the witch hands? Was curious where you got them.
Nvm! I heard the info! Thank you!
Great look 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks for watching
Love the video
My dream job🧙♀️
Where is Stillbeast studios located??? Also where are the creations displayed?
I am sure it is in previous videos or on Professor Google but i'm being lazy ...
we are in Plano Texas, we own Dark Hour Hauntd House as well, but many things are made for clients.
Love it!!
Where did you get the wigs
We just keep a stash on hand, we get them from thrift stores, after Halloween sales they just add up with enough people looking for them.
If you don't use paper to stuff with use noodles and garbage bags or plastic bags
yeah the paper would deform being outside for long periods of time, getting wet and such, and mildew and rot and such- so I like to use things that wont decompose the same way
Are these the standard size pool noodle or their bigger ones?
they are theier standard which are thicker than dollar tree or walmart noodles- foamnoodles.com
Pool noodles: never run out of uses.
NEVER.
Nice
When shall we three meet again? They looked great.
Cauldron boil Cauldron bubble ....
Witch please 😊
First! Hooray!!!
