I got into boxing early last year, I was doing so well, I was getting better than everyone I spar with, and was nearly fight ready. I then got a girlfriend who broke my heart, I kept going hard in boxing for two weeks then all of a sudden I got severely ill, had 3 heart attacks and a damaged liver. 2 months later I attempted suicide as my depression pulled me down further. Listening to these gives me that motivation to get back up and get into boxing again! I will accomplish this!!!!

I went to prison for bank robbery. Got over heroin addiction. Taught myself the stock market when I was locked up, got out and started my own business. My rock bottom was sooo low, but just means my top is going to be amazing

Hermoso, simplemente hermoso! Thanks Chispa! Since I subscribed to your channel , I have always find content that reminds me to never give up. But not only that , for the first time in my life, I haved smiled after falling! Before my mentality was: '' I failed, okay. Let's start again from zero, I can do this". Now I fail and I feel joy. Because instead of reseting I know that when I fail, I am doing something right. Knowing that has made me feel so FREE! Before I knew failure was part of the process. But I was a damned perfectionist. I hated to fail! I felt like crap aftetwards. But now, now failure sets me free, knowing that I am doing better which in consequence, makes me better and failing less harder.

Thank you for reminding us of how important it is to keep going forward in life. Changing our thought pattern in the face of adversity can give us the push we need to overcome our struggles, and live full out.

When I was depressed and an addict I wanted to kill myself because life felt too painful. What always stopped me was knowing my family will be in pain in the event of my death. I swore to life I will suffer as long as I need to if then at least my family doesn't have to. Today, I crush life and I am extremely successful. Never give up, you are stronger than anything life throws at you.

Karim Guled what Eric Thomas is saying, ( The 2nd guy ) . He’s saying that as in that GIVING UP is not a option. The 1st guy is saying when you try hard and still fail, you learn from it. We will fail no matter what. But when you totally give up is when you become a real FAILURE!

BvbyAriz I think that line has different meanings but to me showing up is showing how you’re willing to put in work and if you’re willing to put in work you can achieve your goals
I got a bad grade in school once, so my mother took me out of boxing until i got my grades up. i hated the decision she made but then i realised it's just a opportunity to become more successful. once i finished school with honor roll. i got back into boxing. but once i stepped foot in the ring i got my ass whooped. I felt like I disappointed everyone I know. So that opened a door for me to become more determined and more successful.
