- A full review of the resort of Calas de Mallorca on the Spanish Island of Majorca. We stopped on holiday at the Alua Calas de Mallorca Resort Hotel and after a previous review of this hotel, I do a full resort tour and review showing all the things you can do if you are staying in this resort - the shops, the pubs, restaurants, things for the kids, trips you can take and two great local walks direct from our hotel. We take a boat trip up to the gorgeous Port of Cristo, showing the harbour, the shops and restaurants, as well as the beach and some of the celebrity villas there. Plenty of tips and information on a stay in the resort of Calas de Mallorca.

Lovely cliff side walk that, great pathways. Beautiful sunset. I do love shopping in the supermarkets when im abroad. Hate it here mind! Grandson literally rode everything in there! Fantastic prices. Ah look at all those cats! What a great start to the day, all before breakfast! Great tip about the boat booking. Ah yes, love Burger King, another thing our town lacks sadly. Some great celebs there! Gosh that weather changes quickly over there! Goodbye lovely cats. Great video 👍
I am exactly the same, quite happy to wander around all the shops and market but not a chance in this country. We all had a brilliant time but all worried about how our grandson would react to his first trip on a plan and also his first trip abroad but he absolutely loved both and was really good as well, making lots of friends while we were there too. Looked like a great time with the family. There was plenty to do and see too. I love the views and walk down the coastal trail. Wow, that gangway looked a bit treacherous there. I would have been so scared being that I have that water phobia. Great adventure and lots of memories made with the family. Well done. Have a great day.
That boat trip.........not too bad on the way there but man, when we hit that storm on the way back we were all so pleased to hit firm ground again and I sure pitied the people who had to get back on the boat to get back to their hotel. Appreciate you stopping by buddy, cheers Alan

Great vacation with your family Alan! I loved seeing the sunrise and sunset over the ocean… looks like perfect weather except for a few clouds one day. Nice review of all the things to do at the resort … besides just hanging out at the beach, 😎 It’s wonderful to see the walking paths along the shoreline and perfect that you can walk there instead of taking a taxi. Glad you enjoyed it and we sure did, loved our time there and make even better with having my son and his family there too, great memories made. Hello Alan. It's a really nice resort where you stayed. A short walk after lunch or dinner along the promenade by the sea is wonderful. There are interesting shops and restaurants in the town. Oh my goodness that boat trip! Not for me any more mate. We went in a boat trip in Corfu on our honeymoon and we were lucky we made it off alive. Never been so scared in our lives. 😃. We still go on about it now!! Weather was great when we started but like you a massive wind started. We’re just off to the canaries and won’t be doing any boat trips 😃

Those little black kittens were so cute! I'm glad people feed them and give them water. Yeah, I was getting pretty seasick just watching you on the boat, lol. Looks like an amazing resort! Even though you chose a nice day, that boat ride still seemed like it had a lot of movement. I don't think my stomach would appreciate that! Looks like you all had a blast and a really nice time as a family. We are looking at doing a family trip soon - hoping to surprise my parents by taking them somewhere as a Christmas gift next year.
Too much movement for me, I was pleased when we were all safely back on dry land to be honest. That sounds an awesome trip/surprise for your family at Christmas, I hope that comes off and you all have a great time. Appreciate you stopping by, cheers Alan

Such a different experience to when i was there and everything was closed lol enjoyed your morning walk Alan it looks really beautiful :) aww poor kitties.. im glad the locals are feeding them but sad to see them in pain :/ the water looks magical x the sunrise looks amazing and the boat trip looks awesome but definitely on the day is better your boat looked very bouncy :)

Beautiful but I am terrified of open water. No way would I get on that boat, even for a short trip...nope. Did you buy that mini KISS guitar at that gift shop? Hell yeah, foolish not to return, that place is amazing.
Man that was one scary trip coming back on the boat when we hit that thunderstorm, people throwing up all over the place, we just could not wat to get back onto dry land again. Shame really as the trip out to Porto Cristo was quite nice and the port itself was really nice but too much choice for those guitars, could not pick one so I ended up with none lol. Great video, Alan. I recognised some of the pubs and shops when we visited. No way would I get my Mrs on the boats, although my son and I did one of these trips and snorkelled off the back of the boat, the sea was a tad calmer!
Sounds great and my son booked the tickets and if we had gone on the day her booked it was like a pond, unfortunately the sea changed when we actually went and I could not wait to get back to the hotel lol. Good of you to watch Andy, cheers Alan

Haha kite surfing not for me or even boating in rough seas lol. We were all pleased to get off the boat in one piece as there were a lot of people throwing up, something we missed out on. What a pretty sunset backdrop! Hi Mr and Mrs a Metalman, fun for big kids too, yea? Fun shopping too I bet. So many things to do and see, how do you chose? Hello Alan, I see you are friends of the Brit Girls...and a see many more familiar faces here too...your visit from Julie and Tony to me was so nice I had to return the favor...I just loved your video...I want to visit Mallorca now...I would love to see what you just toured...probably less that boat ride...my heart wept for you...I get seasick, so I know exactly how you were feeling...doubt I would have made it without a few trips to the ladies room, if you know what I mean...better on the outside with the air in your face like the ride home...I did not pity those people getting on...and you getting off...it did look very choppy for sure...I loved everything else though...it did look like a shop til you drop trip...although I don't do much of that anymore 🤣 been there done that...sunrise was beautiful...many things for kids...really loved this tour...will find my way back to you with notifications set! The boat trip was not too back going but on the way back when we hit that storm it was a mare and there were several people being ill on the boat, thankfully none of us but we were so pleased to get back on dry land safely. Mrs Metalman was sure happy with all the shops to look around and I was glad of any shade, we are not used to that much heat in the North of England, cheers Alan
Another classic METALMAN holiday film, what a very good tour guide you are Alan. Lovely views and costal walks. I was also feeling a little sea sick watching the waves out of the window on your trip. I once got sea sick on a lake in England whilst on a sailing course. Believe we are better off with our walking boots on terra firma. Yes a very nice film indeed. Well done. 👍
I remember doing a Greek island cruise on a a big ship, with a then Miss Metalman and about 300 other people on a flat sea with not a breath of wind, only one person on the shop seasick - me! You would have thought I would have learned my lesson. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan

Mrs Metalman did a lot of shopping while we were there as the prices were so good, well, that was her excuse lol. There were a lot of people being seasick on the way back on the boat trip when the thunderstorm started, thankfully not any of our party. I was always up at first light every morning, out for a walk and also to watching the sun rising too, I sure do miss that now we are back home. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan

Lovely sunrise Alan! Been to the Island before (Many times) mainly Cala Bona & Sa coma but never to this resort! My favourite resort though is Porto cristo, I could see you were struggling a bit on that boat mate. Your right though check forcast in day and try and book for that day if weather is good! Looks like you had a great time anyway!
Only previously been to Alcudia and that was 30 years ago so a real nice return visit to the Island and a real nice stay at a new resort as well. Oh that boat trip, not too bad on the way there but an absolute mare on the way back, real pleased when my feet was back on dry land lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
@AlanMETALMAN welcome! We went on a triop in crete mate and we got diverted to look for a missing diver then we hit a storm and we almost sank. Engine flooded, everyone throwing up. Well apart from me, one other tourist and crew. I ended up baling water and we had to be towed back. Thankfully even though it was a disaster we made it back the diver was found thankfully and and we had a few beers with the crew. So yeah ive experienced it lol

Hi Alan Great to see this resort & everything it has to offer. Gosh you're an early riser even on your holidays haha Often the best part of the day ... so I've been told 😆😃😂 I'm not a great one for shopping but funny how you do things differently abroad and I have been known to have a quick browse ... perhaps enticed by the "bargains" Great to see the walks available straight from the hotel especially to that fabulous cove & beach. The boat trip was erm " interesting" great outward trip and I suppose not much choice but to return the same way .... great tip to book on the day !! Truthfully it looked fabulous if you got the right weather. Looks like you had a marvellous trip and if you say you would return then that says it all. Take care 😊

The boat trip was interesting to say the least, especially as I am not the best of sailors but can look back on it now and laugh! I had good news from hospital yesterday so should be back out hiking in the lakes in the next week, as soon as I get some good weather. hi... just booked this hotel after watching your great videos..🎊🎊 just heard on news about the 6 alcoholic drinks per adult at meal times on all inclusive..does this include pre dinner and watching the show of an evening? and around the pool of a day ? tia xx
We never had any trouble with getting drinks at any time when we were there, so fingers crossed you should have no issues either.
