Estação de Francelos - Comboios de Portugal & MEDWAY Trains

In todays video we visit Francelos station on the linha do norte near Porto, Portugal. The station has been recently rebuilt as part of the Granja to Gaia upgrade project. In this video we see passenger trains from Comboios de Portugal and freight trains from MEDWAY. Suburbano services from CP Porto are operated by Series 3400 and 2240 electric multiple units. Long distance Intercidades and Alfa Pendular trains from CP Longo Curso are operated by 5600 locomotives with corail / sorefame carriages and series 4000 electric multiple units respectfully. Also featured are Cement / Cimento freight trains hauled by series 4700 and 5600 locomotives from MEDWAY.
