Hi! The US version is different. She was never highly regarded here! I can remember the press saying that she could not hold a note for long. I always liked the production levels of her songs and my two favourites are 'Never trust a stranger' and 'You came' :)
Actually, this isn't the "real" US Version. The version released on the actual US 12" single is called "Extended Dance Version" and is essentially the same mix but it is 7:17. This one called "US Remix" was released on the "Rage To Love" UK 12" single and is edited down to about 5:23. Also in the US, the song was released as "Go For It" instead of "The Second Time."
I have been a Kimmie fan here in the USA since May 1990 & pride myself on knowing a great deal about her career & details. Just curious though, I only have the US version of this song on Vinyl. Is the UK version significantly different?? Kinnie is among the best!!!!!!! (ps- I think the cd Now & Forever was also majorly overlooked.)
