Aye so I just got my permit and I’ve driven once for like 45 minutes around my area but I low key be nervous when I drive. What advice would y’all give me to stop thinking so much and just drive relaxed
it may sound cliché but stay in your lane and maintain the speed limit...pay attention to your surroundings and continue to practice, in time you will become more comfortable. #staysafe
Just get pay attention put on calming jaws or blues and practice in parking lots & take top street routes just get comfortable with the car, pace yourself you don’t have to speed.
Start off driving slow. Find a empty parking lot if you can and practice there. Remember the brakes are your bestfriend. If you ever panic just ease onto the brakes and calm down. Be aware of other drivers. Usually the speed they’re driving and how they turn will let you know what they will probably do. If they turn fast as hell and drive fast try and stay away from them as a beginner. Other than that just stay calm and stay in your lane. Make sure you always use your blinkers. Nd if you’re ever in a situation where somebody is parked in the middle of the street use your blinkers then too. I failed my first driving test because a dumbass mustang driver was parked in the middle of a townhouse street and I didn’t signal. Nobody taught me that shit.
