It was produced in-house by Konami for DDR, and Konami never released an OST or put the songs on streaming services. Unfortunately, there's no above-board way to get the song. I'm normally anti-piracy, but no one is going to lose anything if you find someplace to download this song :P
just a heads up you will never find anything Bemani-related on those services, at least in the west. they are very strict on keeping any and all of their products region-locked to Japan and thats why bemani gets a lot of hate from the west edit: 1 year later and I phrased this poorly. This song was the death of DDR to me. Once people had to hold onto bars just to beat songs it lost all its spirit and lost its crowds. It became a tryhard spectacle instead of a rhythm stage. This eventually lead to the points and perfects meant everything crowd, and a song wasn't good if you didn't have to hold onto crutches to dance. Bar wasn't put there for that reason, but it was coopted, and DDRiver Dancing was born. All a kid had to see was two bar holding try hards trying to play this song to just skip the wait and play some Metal Slug instead. That didn't happen spinning to Silent Hill, or sliding to Era, pop and locking on Trip Machine Luv Mix, ragdolling to Drop Out, or all your friends singing along with Captain Jack because we all knew the words. That made someone want to play, because maybe one day they too could show us their moves. Because there were moves. It looked fun. This song is not that. Its antiDDR, and I wish they had never put it in and ruined every possible 9 footer converted to a 10 because this song pushed players beyond where the game ever expected of them. Where ego and technique stood above music and feeling. Where the score replaced the heart... And it wasn't even actually 300bpm... *lol* Oh well, good times. I hope you never forget them.
If you think playing without bars already died, it never did. I've played without bars before and it's a different challenge to a speed player like me. It's better this way for the game itself, since now we have the Kinect dance games which makes you actually dance instead of just simply stepping on the pads. Also, in Japan, there's a game called Dance Rush Stardom, which is a mix between the older style DDR gameplay and actual dancing, since you still got to step on certain pads while also jumping and sliding your way to victory.
And also, the crowd is now bigger than before in the speed category. DDR won't live if it stayed being a dance game rather than a stepping rhythm game. Guess even DanceDanceRevolution needs a revolution anyway.
