When I watched this drama I concluded it was called “She was pretty” because Siwon was the one who thought that Kim Hye Jin was pretty. In any moment the Ji Sung-joon thought she was pretty. Even before and after knowing she was Kin Hye Jin he didn’t declare she was pretty. So, Siwon is the guy that fell in love with a pretty woman but she did not realize that she was in love with him too, like many woman in today’s life. She just got trapped in memories from the past thinking she was in love with her friend of childhood but in reality Siwon was the gentlemen that protected her always and appreciate her own beauty. As well, when he flipped the coin in the air, the coin was “don’t give up go after her” but he lied saying that the coin faced the opposite just to see her happy. When he confesses her “ I like you” but she doesn’t believe him that shows how woman are in most of the cases. Finally, the song he sings “Only you” that gives a sign that he is very in love with her. Anyways, it was a very good drama I liked it.
There are so many lessons to be learned from this show. I will not list them all. I am on my 3rd time around and I pick up on nuance I hadn't noticed before.
Jackson was a really pretty girl like her sister but then got frizzy hair and freckles like her dad during puberty and wasn’t considered “pretty” anymore. hence “she WAS pretty”. siwon, however, found her beautiful as a person personality-wise and physically cos he’s awesome like that 😍😍😍
I think the second Male lead was asked to keep a beard in the drama becoz without it, he would have left the main lead far behind and the focus of the drama would have been him. Tho even with beard he was the main focus for me😍the second lead syndrome was pretty strong in this drama..
